@rliumd @hickamsdictum If you know that their 100% set on it, then I think getting a few quality items makes sense. Certain things, masks especially, you'll notice the comfort/quality difference

@rliumd @hickamsdictum I do historic fencing rather than Olympic, but I'll see what I can do:
1st piece, mask (having all your own face germs and not someone else's face germs is great)
2nd, jacket.
3rd, gloves.
4th, sword of your choosing.
Brand, I use Absolute Fencing's HEMA mask. Check their goods?

I snack like a bear preparing for hibernation when I study. I seriously gained 15lbs during dedicated for step 1…but it’s okay because then I got pregnant and breastfed it all away…thinking I will do the same with step 2…questioning the psychological health of my choices
