RBI made a new rule starting from 1st Jan., 2027.

If you lose money to an online banking fraud, your bank may have to pay you back.

Say you lose up to ₹50K.

You can get back 85% of it, up to ₹25K.

So, if ₹20K is lost, you get ₹17K back.

But you've to report to your bank & the cyber helpline 1930 within 5 days.

If the fraud happened because of the bank's fault, when you report doesn't matter.

But if you gave away your OTP/PIN, that's your fault.

You might get nothing.

And till now, you had to prove fault wasn't yours.

Now, the bank has to prove fault was yours.

And you can claim this only ONCE in your life, so use it wisely!

The IRCTC website is completely broken.

Every day at 10 AM for tatkal, millions get an error message saying "high load, please retry". When the site finally works at 10:07 AM, all the tickets are sold out.

મારા વ્હાલા ગુજરાતીઓ,

જય દ્વારકાધીશ.

કાલે રાત્રે અમદાવાદના નરેન્દ્ર મોદી સ્ટેડિયમમાં ગુજરાત ટાઇટન્સ અને ચેન્નાઈ સુપર કિંગ્સ વચ્ચે મેચ રમાઈ હતી, જેમાં ગુજરાત ટાઇટન્સે ચેન્નઈ સુપર કિંગ્સને 89 રને હરાવી એકતરફી જીત મેળવી.

આ મેચ દરમિયાન એક વીડિયો બહુ ચર્ચામાં રહ્યો. જ્યારે શુભમન ગિલે શિવમ દુબેનો અદ્ભુત કેચ પકડ્યા પછી પ્રેક્ષકો તરફ જોઈને "ચૂપ" નો ઈશારો કર્યો, ત્યારે ઘણા લોકોને પ્રશ્ન થયો કે ગિલ દ્વારા પોતાના જ ઘરઆંગણે રમાતી મેચમાં પોતાના જ પ્રેક્ષકોને શાંત કેમ કરાવવામાં આવ્યા?

કારણ એકદમ સીધું હતું. સ્ટેડિયમમાં ઘણા ગુજરાતીઓ ગુજરાત ટાઇટન્સને નહીં, પરંતુ ચેન્નઈ સુપર કિંગ્સને સપોર્ટ કરવા આવ્યા હતા, અને એ પણ તેમની પીળી જર્સી પહેરીને.

તો પ્રશ્ન એ છે કે શું પોતાની રાજ્યની ટીમને છોડીને બીજી ટીમને સપોર્ટ કરવું ખોટું છે? જવાબ છે ના, બિલકુલ નહીં.

દરેક વ્યક્તિને પોતાની મનપસંદ ટીમને સપોર્ટ કરવાનો હક છે. પરંતુ જ્યારે તમારા પોતાના રાજ્યની આઈ.પી.એલ. ટીમ રમતી હોય, અને તમે તેની સામેની ટીમ માટે જોરશોરથી ઉજવણી કરો, ત્યારે કોઈપણ ગુજરાતી માટે એ થોડી નવાઈની વાત બને.

હું એવું નથી કહતો કે તમે રાતોરાત તમારી વર્ષોથી ચાલતી વફાદારી બદલીને ગુજરાત ટાઇટન્સના ફેન બની જાઓ. એ સ્વાભાવિક રીતે શક્ય નથી. પરંતુ એક વાત વિચારવા જેવી છે. ગુજરાત ટાઇટન્સનું આ માત્ર પાંચમું વર્ષ છે, અને ટીમ તેનું ચોથું પ્લેઓફ્સ રમવા જઈ રહી છે. ભગવાન દ્વારકાધીશની કૃપાથી મંગળવારની મેચ જીતશે, તો દસ દિવસમાં ત્રીજી ફાઈનલ પણ રમશે.

તો શું તમને નથી લાગતું કે આટલી નવી છતાં એટલી સફળ ટીમને આપણે સૌએ એક મોકો આપવો જોઈએ?

જો આપણે જ આપણા રાજ્યની આઈ.પી.એલ. ટીમને સપોર્ટ નહીં કરીએ, તો પછી બીજા રાજ્યના લોકો કરશે? એવું નથી કે ગુજરાત ટાઇટન્સના ફેન્સ માત્ર ગુજરાતમાં જ છે. દેશભરમાં અને દુનિયાભરમાં પણ તેમના સમર્થકો હશે. પરંતુ ટીમના નામમાં રહેલું "ગુજરાત" શું આપણને પોતાની ટીમ સાથે જોડાવા માટે પૂરતું કારણ નથી આપતું?

મારી એવી કોઈ ઈચ્છા નથી કે ચેન્નઈ કાં તો બેંગલુરુ જેટલો મોટો પ્રેક્ષક સમૂહ ગુજરાત ટાઇટન્સને રાતોરાત મળી જાય.

પણ આપણે જ આપણા રાજ્યની ટીમને સપોર્ટ નહીં કરીએ, તો બીજું કોઈ કરવા નહીં આવે.

જે રાજ્યમાં ત્રણ-ત્રણ રણજી ટીમો હોય, એ રાજ્યના ક્રિકેટ ચાહકોને પોતાની જ રાજ્યની આઇ.પી.એલ. ટીમ છોડીને બીજા રાજ્યની ટીમોને સપોર્ટ કરતા જોઈને થોડું દુઃખ તો થાય.

ભારતમાં 30થી વધુ રાજ્ય અને કેન્દ્રશાસિત પ્રદેશો છે, પણ એમાથી માત્ર 10 પાસે પોતાની આઈ.પી.એલ. ટીમ છે, અને ગુજરાત એમાંનું એક છે. હા, એ વાત માનું છું કે જે રાજ્યાંથી 'ભારતીય ક્રિકેટના પિતા', જામસાહેબ રણજીતસિંહજી આવતાં હોય તેવા ગુજરાતને પોતાની આગવી આઈ.પી.એલ. ટીમ 2008માં જ મળી જવી જોઈતી હતી.

એટલા માટે મારી તમને બધાને હાથ જોડીને વિનંતી છે કે તમારા ગુજરાતને ને એક મોકો આપો. ધીરે ધીરે એમની મેચો જોવાનું શરૂ કરો. સ્ક્વોડમાં કયા ખેલાડીઓ છે એ જાણો.

મને ખાતરી છે, એક વખત તમે આ ટીમને નજીકથી જોવાનું શરૂ કરશો પછી આ ટીમને પસંદ કર્યા વગર નહીં રહી શકો.
