But honest question about India: what are the conditions in which ethical milk is produced? Where can one find this?

Plants don't have brains or receptors that respond to pain like humans, dogs, cows, etc. So, the harm inflicted on the former ends up being inconsequential... animal killing is both physically and emotionally gruesome.

People world-over assume milk is intrinsic to nourishing: that's the myth worth busting.

@sharmajikabet @Dextrocardiac1 As a vegan who’s also doing strength training now, I try to have about 100g of protein everyday — more than what the average meat eater has. Lentils, tofu, quinoa, hummus, oats, chickpeas, etc. work.

@morbius_m @ajitdatta I don't think he's "doing something nice" just to be benevolent. It's possible of course. But it's more likely that this is resumé padding (e.g. to apply to top foreign universities) with the help of state officials. Not different to how RG would've gotten into Harvard/Cambridge.
