For last four years, 1158 young professors & librarians have been protesting for station allocation, and one of them died by suicide, holding Pb Edu Min @harjotbains responsible for her death.

At around 6 AM today, the police administration detained Assistant Professor Himanshu, Dr. Kuldeep Singh and Shamsher Gill of the 1158 Assistant Professors & Librarians Front, taking them to Police Station City Faridkot—simply for demanding a meeting and fulfillment of long-pending promises by @PbGovtIndia.

After repeated assurances and backtracking, is this the response of the @AAPPunjab government led by CM Bhagwant Mann?

ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ @harjotbains ਨਾਲ ਤੈਅ ਮੀਟਿੰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ 7ਵੀਂ ਵਾਰ ਮੁਲਤਵੀ ਕਰਨਾ “ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀ” ਦੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਦਾਵਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਕੀਕਤ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। 2 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਵਲ ਸਕੱਤਰੇਤ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਜਸਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ (100% ਅਪਾਹਜ) ਸਮੇਤ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ 6–7 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਨਾ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਅਸਵੀਕਾਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਅਨੁਭਵਹੀਨ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨਿਕ ਰਵੱਈਏ ਦੀ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਹੈ।

ਇਹ ਸੱਤਵਾਂ ਮੌਕਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ 1158 ਸਹਾਇਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀਅਨ ਫ਼ਰੰਟ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦ ਕੇ ਖੱਜਲ-ਖੁਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਟਾਲਮਟੋਲ, ਵਾਅਦਾ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ੀ ਵਰਗ ਨਾਲ਼ ਬੇਇਨਸਾਫ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਨੀਤੀ ਹੁਣ ਬਰਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

“ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀ” ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਨਜ਼ਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹੁਣ 1158 ਸਹਾਇਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀਅਨ ਫ਼ਰੰਟ ਹਰ ਮੋਰਚੇ ‘ਤੇ @AAPPunjab ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਘੇਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਵਾਬਦੇਹ ਬਣਾਏਗਾ।
