Air India confirms that flight AI171, from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick, was involved in an accident today after take-off.

The flight, which departed from Ahmedabad at 1338 hrs, was carrying 242 passengers and crew members on board the Boeing 787-8 aircraft. Of these, 169 are Indian nationals, 53 are British nationals, 1 Canadian national and 7 Portuguese nationals.

The injured are being taken to the nearest hospitals.

We have also set up a dedicated passenger hotline number 1800 5691 444 to provide more information.

Air India is giving its full cooperation to the authorities investigating this incident.

चलिए कुछ चीजें डिस्कस करते हैं।

कल के ड्रोन हमले में पाकिस्तान ने हमारे मल्टीपल सिक्योरिटी इंफ्रा को हिट करने की कोशिश की। फ़िरोज़पुर में हमारे एमोडीपो को हिट करने की कोशिश की। एक ड्रोन सिविलन एरिया में घुस गया। जान-माल का नुक़सान हुआ। सिरसा में में एक महत्वपूर्ण इंफ्रा हिट करने के लिए मिसाईल से अटैक किया। यहाँ एस्क्लेशन लैडर एक स्टेप आगे बढ़ गया।

एक घंटे के भीतर हमने रिटेलियेट किया। सबसे पहले लाहौर, फिर इस्लामाबाद और उसके बाद रावलपिंडी। चकलाला एयरबेस को हमने मिसाईल से हिट किया। फिर झांग, चकवाल और लास्ट में पेशावर जोकि इंटरसेप्ट हो गया।

यह असल में स्प्राइज था। पाकिस्तान आर्मी दो दिन से बेतहाशा ड्रोन से अटैक कर रही थी। इसे कॉन्फ्लिक्ट स्ट्रैटजी में सॉफ्टिंग दी टारगेट कहते हैं। हम सब अलसुबह PAF की एयर रेड एंटीसिपेट कर रहे थे और हमारी एयर फ़ोर्स ने कार्रवाई कर दी।

सुबह हमने उनके काउंटर अटैक को बुरी तरह नाकाम किया। एक दो जगहों पर मामूली नुकसान के अलावा कोई बड़ी घटना नहीं हुई।PAF ने हमारा एयर स्पेस बायलर किया। लेकिन तुरंत भगाना पड़ा। जम्मू में कुछ सिविलियन इलाके हिट हुए। वो अकेला बड़ा नुकसान था।

हमने रिटेलियट किया और लाहौर, रहीम यार ख़ान, जैकबाबाद और हैदराबाद के एयरबेस पूरी तरह बर्बाद कर दिए।

सुबह तक हम युद्ध और नैरेटिव वार दोनों जीत रहे थे। हमारे पास विजुअल सबूत थे। हमें वीडियो गेम पर ग्राफिक बनाने की जरूरत नहीं थी।

फिर सीज फायर हुआ। और अब हम लगातार बैकफुट पर हैं। हम पूरा नैरेटिव वॉर लूज कर रहे हैं। आज LoC पर क्या हुआ है सबको पता है। वेस्टर्न बॉर्डर पर क्या चल रहा सबको पता है। लेकिन हम चुप हैं।

मेरी समझ से से बाहर है यह राजनीतिक समझदारी और डिप्लोमेसी।
