@FAJTV44 Fair point and very true. I made this BBC Micro (1980's 8-bit computer) emulator in Scratch - https://t.co/MJfOryA3H2 - it definitely creates more "Wow... in Scratch?" (or "Why in Scratch?") than if I'd done the same in Unity
@Hermesparcels? Got an email saying next day delivery was unsuccessful along with a photo of a door that isn't part of the property! No way to speak to a human - just bots via phone or online, both saying that delivery will be attempted again (presumably to the same mystery door)
Porting @ScummVM's Made engine over to @Scratch seemed like a fun idea! A new generation of kids can now enjoy playing The Manhole via the wonders of Scratch https://t.co/Ks2uzyga3b (and their parents can check out the Masterpiece edition on Steam)
@scratch Do you reply to all the DMs on this? Would be a shame to miss out if one of the stories gets shared without the owner of said story being aware :) Erm... story sent by DM
Program BBC BASIC or 6502 assembly from within Scratch? Play Elite from within @scratch? Emulated disk drive and sound chip from within Scratch? Export from #Scratch to load again later? YES is the answer to all of those questions! https://t.co/RdYf6xEB3M #emulation#education
@sebi2706@scratch Yes, that one's mine. It's such a great premise for a studio that I spent the evening seeing if I could come up with something interesting to add to it.
I've started making some videos with tutorials, hints and tips for aspiring young #Scratch games programmers on my new YouTube channel - https://t.co/IQUCvfYRWJ #ScratchAtHome
@scratch A5. I have a "Choose Your Own Adventure" tutorial which works best if the adventure is planned out with pen and paper to start with. Some of the designs the children have come up with that way are getting more and more elaborate! https://t.co/ri1ew9Voz0 #ScratchAtHome
@nrusk1 @scratch@CodeClub After doing the initial Code Club online tutorials I encourage the children to choose their own projects to work on and then direct them towards specific Code Club projects as and when needed. I've also been creating tutorials and tips here https://t.co/IQUCvfYRWJ #ScratchAtHome
How lucky are we to have a leading industry expert and games designer run our popular after-school computer coding club? Students have picked up fantastic skills and are now creating their own amazing games. Thank you to Cliff Davies @RokSoft.

Interesting, brilliant and fun day at #Scratchconference today. Lots of interesting people to talk with, great discussions and talks to attend and wonderful Scratch team members to meet.
@just1cowboy It's fine for all the classic games. Excellent in fact. Even copes with the Neo Geo games admirably well. A little under par on some console emulation but the newest rPi model might sort that. I've been tempted by some of the more powerful SBCs but the idea was to keep it cheap
