That the Sun rises and burns unsleeved arms,
And quietly the rattlers find a good rock to rest in,
The noise of the city’s tires on the freeways
Concludes life is here, and flourishing,
Las Vegas, Nevada,
Houses and people busy and attentive,
A place of residence for my family members
And a place of fond memories for my wife and her mother.
A second home, a place where I can write,
A place where I can visit the animal sanctuaries
And the protected wildlife,
It’s where the centuries before meet today
And today breathes and allows new designs.

Our condolences to the families who lost their loved ones on October 1, 2017.
