@nestle only pays $574 annually to the U.S. Forest Service to illegally pump over 62 million gallons a year in San Bernardino, CA. Illegal privatization of water is destroying communities. Water is a human right. We need to end this now @Sierrastudent#nestleneedsYOUth

@Nestle Hi @Nestle , although you may be extracting San Bernadino water legally now, that wasn’t always the case. And you certainly had to pull a few strings to continue stealing California’s water in order to make profits. Just stating some facts🤷🏻♂️

@Nestle Portions of the HR 23 legislation “would hinder state authorities from restricting Nestlé’s water use to avoid potential harm to public lands, and would prevent federal agencies from putting limits on water use when issuing federal permits” - Cal. Dem. candidate Marge Doyle.
@Nestle “Campaign finance records show the Nestlé Waters North America Inc. PAC contributed about $22,000 to federal congressional candidates during the 2016 election cycle, including $1,000 to [Paul] Cook's campaign” -Desert Sun (on H.R. 23 legistlation)

@Nestle (continued...)“But the amount of water they were pumping out of the area was 4 times greater than what the permits allowed them to take”

Hey @NestleUSA, draining water in an area that's already in a drought just to sell it back to them is the fucking opposite of "enhancing quality of life" #NestleneedsYOUth
@Nestle is extracting 62.6 million gallons of water annually from San Bernardino area w/o permit, bottling it up, and selling it back to residents with a 200x price mark up... somethings wrong here #nestleneedsYOUth#boycottnestle@Sierrastudent
