The lump sum option with withdrawing 340/mo has a 78% success rating. If the pension is adjusted for inflation then the pension is the hands down winner.

@BarberraBarker @ryangerritsen So wrong… In YYC 80% is recycled and only 20% goes to landfills which is mostly due to contamination. Yes there are jurisdictions and private companies that do a poor job but YYC does end source procurement and actually a good job.

@wilderpatriot Most likely they are not giving a reason as the emp was fired without cause and was compensated with a severance package. There will be underlying reasons but dont meet legal requirements for firing.
