To @ni2las , @dansorare and the entire @Sorare team,

Because we love this game.

As a community that has spent years building our galleries with passion, strategy, and excitement, we want to express our disappointment following the release of the 2026 roadmap (particularly regarding the future of the Classic mode and Unique cards).

From the beginning, Classic has been the competitive core of #sorare, as most cards in the game fall under this category and represent tens of thousands of managers. Choosing players, climbing divisions, and dreaming of a podium finish, with real cash prizes, has been the main motivation for all of them. Removing those prizes, breaking the current structure that allows players to compete against similarly leveled teams, and relegating Classic to a secondary role not only shatters that dream, but also turns all cards into increasingly less useful assets, far from the sustainable value that has been so often promised.

Furthermore, the forced implementation of the SO7 format contradicts what was stated in the last AMA, where it was said that it would only be tested in special events. This change especially harms small and mid-sized managers (who make up the majority of Sorare players), reducing their ability to compete and earn rewards per card.

As if that weren’t enough, Unique galleries, which for years have represented the pinnacle of the game and a goal many dreamed of reaching, are now also seeing a drastic drop in value due to yet another abrupt shift, hurting those who have made significant past investments.

Yes, the new In Season mode might be appealing, but it’s meaningless if the foundation on which the game is built (the Classic mode) is quietly dismantled.

The new Arenas may have potential, but they’re not the answer to breaking a structure that, while not perfect, allowed players to compete in the best leagues in the world and generally do so against similarly leveled opponents. Many complained about the old system, but what’s coming may make us long for what we had.

We know Sorare is a young, evolving game, and we understand that trial and error is part of the journey. But listening to the community is not about repeating it in videos and interviews, it’s about acting when there is clear consensus. And rarely have we seen such unanimity as now, among creators, collectors, and players of all types.

That’s why, from major investors like @Pransky (selling all his gallery because he will play Uniques in Limited) to users with only one or two cards, we ask you, respectfully but firmly, to reconsider the direction for the upcoming season. There is still time to prove you are truly listening and to redirect #sorare2026 onto a path that excites and inspires the community once again.

@sorarebreizh plutot décu, très décu même ! payer pour du F2P n'a aucun sens sans "vraie" reward. C'est pas ce mode qui va attirer de nouveaux players...

Et surtout, je commençais a vraiment m'amuser avec rivals :)
