@TechYESCity Might not be your problem, but I've had this happen before and it ended up being the CPU was bad. It was a 5900X which I've had for a couple years. Then all of a sudden the GPU would not work in the 16x slot. I believe the CPU controls the PCIx 16 slot not the motherboard.
