Saddens me that this is happening not because obsession isn’t good. It is but the average audience today just can’t sit through a slower paced tension building movie with a more complex story that isn’t just extremely plain and simple like obsession is
Bugonia covers the “disclosing the truth about aliens” topic in a much better and more in depth, unique, and subtle way than what Disclosure Day offered.
#DisclosureDay has earned $6.5M in previews, putting it on track for a $35M opening weekend at the box office.
On a $115M budget (plus $80M in marketing), some box office analysts predict Spielberg’s film would need to open with $50M to justify its cost — and make $300M globally to be profitable.

I watch almost every single film that releases, regardless of genre and budget, I think this is the first time in a while I'm fully abstaining from watching any of these.
The #Obsession only works because Bear lives in the middle.
If he's purely innocent, then the wish is just bad luck and the film loses its critique.
If he's purely evil from the start, then there's no real discomfort because you never root for him and the tragedy disappears.
The film needs him to be ordinary. Someone you understand. Someone you might even defend.
The horror isn't what Bear becomes.
It's realizing he was always capable of it, and so is the guy sitting next to you in the theater.
#Obsession
Nikki and Ian were completely right to keep the fact that they were hooking up a secret from Bear. His actions in the film show that he couldn't handle it.
Scary Movie tops the #1 spot in the box office with a record-breaking 105.5 million worldwide opening, the highest in its entire franchise history!
Complete with humor that mocks the LGBTQ+ movement, pronouns, trans, conservatives, liberals, religion, and pretty much anything, it offended the institutional gatekeepers of entertainment... leading to a very low critic score of 26%. The actual audience appears to love it, with a 70% rating.
Scary Movie only had a budget of 30 million, making a profit instantly. More reason to take the "critic" opinion and toss it into the dumpster where it belongs!
To clarify, she does look like a child in most shots, I am aware some korean women do look very young but this was an intentional choice, and the intention behind it is clear.
Stellar Blade Blood Rain CEO Kim Hyung-tae interview:
- “We intentionally made Evie to be shorter and look a bit younger”
- “We are designing Evie to have an even stronger, more distinct personality (than EVE)
- “Costume quality will be much higher than the previous game”
This whole controversy stems from people not understanding basic business agreements work. It would be really awesome if the crew got bonuses equivalent to the films massive success, vut they are not entitled to it since it wasn't in the contract they signed.
is it really THAT crazy for her to ask for more money after a project she had such amount of influence in generated 250 MILLION dollars (35,700x the amount she was paid for)
