The deadly shooting in Minneapolis today was a straight-up execution of a protester by Trump's federal brownshirts.
The thugs wrestled him to the ground. They pistol-whipped him, then shot him multiple times. They murdered him.
The videos don't lie. A man is dead, killed in cold blood. There is no conceivable justification for this intentional homicide. And make no mistake, that intentional, unjustified homicide was committed on behalf of Donald J. Trump.
Trump's militarization of Minneapolis and other parts of our nation isn't about illegal immigration. It's not about enhancing public safety. It's about destroying any sense of that safety—to intimidate political opponents, and to punish dissent. It's about a corrupt, out-of-control regime's effort to provoke citizens in order to justify the violence it desires to commit against them so that it can expand and retain its power.
That is fascism. It is tyranny. It is governmental criminality.
And the ultimate legal check the Framers of our Constitution provided to stop this kind of tyranny and criminality in the executive branch is impeachment and removal of the executive.
Congress needs to do its job.
Now.
Before it's too late.
Owning a gun is legal.
Carrying a gun is legal.
The victim of today's ICE murder doesn't have the gun in his hands during the encounter from any of the video shown. He is on the ground having the shit kicked out of him and being pistol whipped.
Then he is shot repeatedly.
So much for the 2A.
In footage from the immediate aftermath of the shooting today in Minneapolis of 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti, agents with Border Patrol and Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) can be seen searching for a gun, with one clearly stating, “Where’s the gun?” The agent in grey who was seen removing the gun from the waistband of Pretti before the shooting then says that he has it. More evidence suggesting that Pretti was unarmed when shot by agents in Minneapolis.

Frame by frame breakdown of this MURDER shows ICE is lying!
-ICE had ALREADY disarmed the man before shooting.
-The man NEVER drew his gun.
At the 0:06 second mark we see the man’s hands on the ground covered in large gloves.
His hands are empty.
To be clear about what this depicts: An immigration officer threw a woman onto the ground. Alex Pretti, a registered nurse on scene as a legal observer, is filming and goes to help the woman up. He is then pepper sprayed and thrown to the ground for no discernible reason. Many officer surround and assault him; one removes his firearm, which police say appears to have been legally registered. They then execute him with a hail of bullets.
They are, objectively speaking, both cowards and criminals, while Pretti is what we teach people an American ought to be.
BREAKING: Federal border agents appear to have killed a registered nurse in Minneapolis.
Alex Pretti dedicated his life to caring for others. Today, he is dead after being shot by agents after he was disarmed, despite having legally exercised his right to carry.
Watch the sequence. The facts matter.
This wasn’t self-defense.
This wasn’t a split-second mistake.
No amount of MAGA spin can explain away agents killing a man after removing his weapon. It was a grave abuse of power carried out under a Trump-led enforcement culture that treats civilians as enemies.
I don’t envy the Ukrainians at the negotiating table.
Russia is deliberately pushing Ukraine to the brink of humanitarian catastrophe and state collapse, while feigning interest in “peace.”
This attack also appears designed to sabotage the process itself as it could have baited Ukraine into walking away in justified outrage, only so Moscow could cynically claim the collapse was Ukraine’s fault.
These actions by Russia should be met with outrage and decisive force from the United States and Europe.
Instead, we see Washington pressing Ukraine toward capitulation and too much of Europe watching from the sidelines.
When history writes this chapter, there will be very few heroes and far too many villains.
Calling this “unfortunate” is a moral failure. Russia is deliberately targeting energy infrastructure to freeze millions of Ukrainians. This is intentional civilian harm. It is a war crime.
The cowards who are saying “both sides were at fault” need to remember:
1) ICE & DHS have LIED about the officer being at risk.
2) The officer FLED the scene after the shooting.
3) They blocked medical care.
4) DHS lied about the events.
5) DHS and the WH claimed the officer was hospitalized.
If this was “an unfortunate accident” that was within the bounds of the law, they wouldn’t have needed to lie about it!
At 0:55 a man identifies himself as a physician and tell ICE someone needs to “stop the bleeding.”
When he decides to intervene himself 40 seconds later, ICE pull their guns on him, threatening to shoot him too if he doesn’t “back the fuck up.”
You can already glean a few things re: Minnesota sh--ting based on the videos that are now widely available.
Things start to go south when federal officer -- hooded -- lunges toward car.
The driver at this point is reversing and wheel is turned toward left.

I'm a former defense attorney and currently a civil liberties attorney with no political dog in this fight. I watched the video at least 10 times from different angles and at different speeds and waited to offer an opinion, which I still reserve the right to change if additional information changes the calculus.
It is very clear that the officers instigated the confrontation. The woman initially tried to wave them past her.
ICE officers have no authority to search a US citizen or arrest her (unless there's probable cause to believe she's harboring undocumented individuals, not a contention here). A woman surrounded by masked, armed men who have no law enforcement authority over her has every right to try to escape. Video shows her steering wheel is turned to the right, clearly an attempt to leave WITHOUT hitting anyone and steer clear of the officer standing towards the front of her car. That officer had time to step to the side, which is where he was when he shot her.
Even a real police officer would not have the right to shoot at her for trying to flee. This is well-established in the case law; deadly force may not be used simply to prevent someone from getting away. Given that the ICE officers had no law enforcement authority to begin with, AND the video footage shows she was trying to escape a perceived threat, not to kill anyone, the crime is all the more inexcusable.
I'm praying for the victim's family, especially her children. I'm also praying for all the conservatives who are so unprincipled and lost they're excusing this terrible crime, and gloating over a death that will leave three young children motherless, because of the victim's politics.
HOLY SHIT. This is worse.
ICE DENIED ON SCENE MEDICAL CARE TO THIS WOMAN WHILE SHE BLED OUT.
THE ICE AGENT SAYS "I DON'T CARE" WHEN A BYSTANDER IDS AS MEDICAL AND WANTS TO HELP.
Let's be even more clear about this:
-ICE's jurisdiction is ONLY on matters related to immigration.
-They do NOT have normal police powers or authorities.
-To stop a vehicle they MUST have reasonable cause to believe it contains an undocumented immigrant.
-To draw their weapon on someone they MUST have reasonable cause that their lives are in *DIRECT* danger.
-They CANNOT detain you with out reasonable cause to believe you are undocumented.
-They CANNOT detain a US citizen for passing-by the area.
Ice had NO jurisdiction to stop or interact with this woman at all, never mind pull out a gun.
