Here's the newest entry for the Annotated Tomb of Annihilation.
This time, a general overview of how to run "Chapter 2: The Land of Chult" called "Jungle Basics."
I hope you find it useful!

NOT INCORPORATED? YOU MIGHT BE SCREWING YOURSELF!
A lot of indy filmmakers work by the seat of their pants without actually getting incorporated.
I wrote up a short piece about why this is probably a bad idea.

The last few years, the last few months, the last few days... they've been pretty hard. We've all faced our own brick walls. But today? Today we drink deep in endless sun. Today we brace for whatever comes next... together.
@SupersonicMikeD @MermaidLeashea I'm always boggled by how fast other tables can get through published content.
My players—and this has been so for decades—always ponder and debate and shop and befriend the vegetable monger and stuff.
Takes forever.
@MermaidLeashea @WinghornPress As always, I point people to @HankrinFerinale's running the game videos that appear early in his YouTube channel as well.

@MermaidLeashea A Most Potent Brew from @WinghornPress is nice and short (1 session), manageable and 1st level, and gives just enough sense of D&D's weirdness to show them the heart of the game.

@Kalandras_ I also usually don't let everyone in the party try as well unless there's some timer going on. It's artificial, but I hate scenarios where each party member goes up and tries to persuade a guard to let them in or whatever.
@Kalandras_ "It will take x more turns to open" and this allows me to pull their actions out of our economy for that long.
Other times—say they are non-proficient but going to try to pick a lock anyway—they get the one chance and on a failure I say, "You can't make sense of these tools."
