United Way kicked off at Romeo today. We had herds of unicorns, pokemon, mermaids, werewolves, etc - AWESOME! Tomorrow is Twins Day/ Inside Out Tuesday. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with next! Remember- all proceeds go to United Way to help families in Marion County
During my time @RomeoElementary today I was struck by the focus question for October. I also observed student generated tracking of their own learning in Ms. Tripp’s class & school-wide strategies for wellness for learning to thrive. Well done!
To celebrate the end of Hispanic Heritage Month, students and staff adopted a country. On Friday we all dressed in the colors of our country and took some time to learn more about the culture and history of that country.

Last night we recognized our Romeo 5th graders for their successful completion of elementary school. Our families and students did an awesome job decorating their cars, and our fantastic staff turned out in droves to cheer us on in ymthe Badcock parking lot! Thanks Dunnellon!
There is nothing better than a small town parade to celebrate a big event. Our community came out to recognize our 5th grade students from Romeo and DES as well as the 8th graders from Dunnellon Middle. This was a memorable experience!!
Virtual family support sessions will be available via Zoom during summer. Sessions provided by the Psychological and Social Work Department. Topics may include managing anxiety, returning to school, and academic motivation. Additional TBA on our website soon.
