The best discovery of our road trip has been a musician called Ella Langley. We had never heard of her before, but after hearing her on pretty much every country radio station, we’ve become big fans. She’s basically the soundtrack of our trip.
Takeaways from the #Broncos' Week 11 win:
• These are not the Same Old Broncos, who surely would've lost this game without two of their best players. These are the New Broncos, and there's nothing fluky about them. They just ... find ways ... to win.
• On that note, a massive credit to Sean Payton for turning the team's culture around in such short order. From utterly hopeless in 2023 to holding the top record in football in 2025. Payton is truly one of the elite coaches of his generation.
• For YEARS, the Broncos' season was essentially over by Halloween. Now it's almost Thanksgiving, and we're discussing potential homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. This is all a pinch-me moment for #BroncosCountry — and much deserved, at that.
• Unlike weeks past, I felt the Broncos were ready for this game from the opening whistle. They were energized, focused, and simply wanted it more than Kansas City. That, again, is a positive reflection on the coaching.
• Bo Nix had one of, if not his best performance as a Bronco, despite not tossing any touchdowns. He was decisive, set his feet consistently, and appeared in total command of the offense. His throw to Franklin on the final drive was among the clutchest I've seen from him.
• If the Broncos play this way, there's quite literally no team they cannot beat. And when Surtain, Singleton, and Powers return to the lineup? Watch out. They're gonna be DANGEROUS in January.
• My only ask? Try to limit the trick plays. Pretty please, Sean.
• I never wanna see Tyler Badie in the RB2/3 role ever again. That should permanently belong to Jaleel McLaughlin.
• Tell me why I feel most comfortable when the ball's going to Pat Bryant, compared to any other Broncos WR. Dude has legitimate star potential. Need more of him after the bye.
• Ja'Quan McMillian is the best slot corner in the NFL, and the Broncos should extend him ASAP.
• I'm not sure how we survived without Greenlaw and Hufanga in the past. But damn, am I happy they're Broncos now.
• Here's a controversial take: Riley Moss remains a good CB. His flaws are correctable; his talent is undeniable. I stand with Riley.
• They don't normally get a lot of love, but I thought Ewazurike, KAD, and Prentice had solid games. The depth on this team is outstanding.
• Special shoutout to Big Nutz Wil Lutz. He's as close to automatic as any kicker I can recall (and a major upgrade over his predecessor).
• The Broncos are 9-2, winners of eight straight. They beat the reigning Super Bowl champions and the runner-ups. They vanquished both the No. 1 offense and No. 1 defense in the league. If anyone is still calling them frauds, THEY DON'T KNOW BALL ‼️
Breaking: Saints and Broncos are finalizing compensation in return for Super Bowl-winning HC Sean Payton, sources tell ESPN. This clears the way for Payton to sign with the Broncos to become Denver’s next head coach.
And so Payton is expected to head to Denver as its next HC.

Now that is just damn ridiculous. Yes, the kid Wade for @OhioStateFB did connect with Lawrence’ helmet. But that was NOT targeting. No way he should’ve been ejected for that plan. The QB lowered his head. That is just an awful call.#AWFUL
