The hypocrisy is stunning. Suddenly it suits the Trump regime to condemn Israel for killing civilians as they desperately seek an 'out' of their ludicrous war. But supplying weapons and support for Israel to kill tens of thousands in Gaza was fine - Israel's right to defend itself. It was okay to supply weapons and support for countless earlier attacks on Lebanon civilians too. It was fine to kill thousands of Iranian civilians in joint bombings.
But, oh, now we are desperate to open the strait and so, abracadabra, killing civilians is wrong.
