One month before the election, Carney looked straight into the camera and played the tough guy.
“Trump wants to break us so America can own us.”
“We won’t let that happen.”
“We’re going to get stronger.”
“They’re going to come to the table on our terms.”
How’s that working out?
Canada now has the fastest falling housing market in the entire G7.
Mortgage arrears are at recession levels.
The economy is soft, investment is leaving, and the “experienced economic leader” is still talking while Canadians watch their wealth shrink.
Campaign Carney talked tough.
Governing Carney delivered the opposite.
That’s not leadership.
That’s theatre.

@mario4thenorth The MP's accident has to be recorded somewhere. Where do we start looking? There must be a public record, police report...something to prove or disprove this incident.
I don’t care anymore.
I’m just gonna say it.
This never sat well with me.
The Liberal MP resigned, over an accident on the way to Ottawa (classifies as work),
A YEAR AGO,
that was so bad, that no one knew about it until yesterday.
And the accident was so bad that he could still work for almost a full year before resigning?
And now I’m finding out from @RealAndyLeeShow that he went to China?
But can’t travel to Ottawa?
And he’s LIKELY eligible for 70% of his MP pay for the next 20 years (retirement or until he “recovers”) through the long term disability benefit MPs get via their PSMIP?
The media doesn’t question it.
At all?
And yet, when a Conservative MP resigns, immediately MSM finds a way to attack Pierre?
Meanwhile Carney has had 2 MINISTERS QUIT, and others leave with ZERO backup prospects or job lined up?
HOW IS NO ONE INVESTIGATING OR QUESTIONING THIS?
#BREAKING: Auditors find more fraudulent activity in Foreign Affairs Minister Indian Anita Anand’s department. Stolen fuel and unethical contracting in Nairobi, Kenya Africa.
@GAC_Corporate audits also discover a massive $2 Million Dollar FRAUD RING in Haiti.

@JayGenXer@BeautifulCana1 Which "instances" don't occur again in the future, Gary?
Chinese Nationals working in Canadian government getting caught spying?
Is this what Gary wants to secure so Chinese Nationals don't get caught and can work unabated?
Not real clear on this... gARy!
A Canadian intern gets arrested in Belgium for spying on NATO.
Woman of Chinese descent.
Working at NATO’s military headquarters in Mons.
Belgian authorities say she’s believed to be part of a criminal organization.
And Canada’s Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree’s response?
“We need to ensure these types of instances do not occur in the future.”
That’s it.
No answers on how she got cleared.
No answers on whether she worked in Canadian departments.
No answers on what information may have been passed.
Just the usual Liberal script: acknowledge it’s serious, promise to look into processes, and move on.
This is the same government that can’t track visa overstays, can’t control the borders, and somehow still can’t keep spies out of our own security clearances.
Security screening is either broken or deliberately weak.
Either way, Canadians are left exposed.

You gotta hear this - Liberal CBC pundits make excuses for Mark Carney going on vacation to Italy in the midst of critical trade deal negotiations as "showing leadership."
Reminder: Dominic LeBlanc wasn't voted in to negotiate a trade deal Mark was.

Mark Carney Luxury Vacation in Europe.
He is not sure when he will be back again.
This is what you voted for.
DROPS Elbows into a ditch and LEAVES Town
BEST PM IN CANADIAN HISTORY
THE “ELBOWS UP” HOUSE OF CARDS JUST CAME CRASHING DOWN. 🇨🇦
They were CERTAIN Mark Carney was the man who would stand up to Donald Trump.
Not hopeful.
CERTAIN.
They overlooked everything.
They overlooked reports that 91% of Carney’s disclosed investment assets were tied to the United States, while just 0.5% were tied to Canada.
Why?
They bought all of it.
They were assured THIS WAS THE GUY.
The sophisticated global banker.
The master negotiator.
The adult in the room.
The man who understood Trump.
They were told the global banker had a plan.
Then came the speeches.
Carney talked about “middle powers” joining together. About a new world order. About countries refusing to be pushed around by great powers.
The Elbows Up crowd was euphoric.
Finally!
Their intellectual heavyweight had arrived.
Their master negotiator was going to stare down Trump and show him Canada wouldn’t be bullied.
ELBOWS UP! 🇨🇦💪
And then came reality.
The tough talk collided with the negotiating table.
The concessions started.
And suddenly the very establishment that spent a year and a half convincing Canadians that Carney would stand up to Trump began explaining why Canada couldn’t possibly stand up to Trump.
Read that again.
We went from:
“ELBOWS UP!”
to:
“Well, Canada doesn’t really have a choice…”
Funny how quickly courage becomes pragmatism when your guy is the one making concessions.
The same people who would have called Pierre Poilievre a traitor for giving Trump an inch are now performing intellectual gymnastics to explain why Carney giving ground is actually brilliant negotiating.
Apparently when Carney folds, it’s 4D chess.
When Canadians question it, they simply don’t understand economics.
And now the Elbows Up crowd wants answers.
They want their champion to explain what happened.
They want to know where the tough guy from the speeches went.
They want to know what happened to the leverage.
What happened to the grand coalition of middle powers?
What happened to standing up to Trump?
And at the moment Canadians most desperately want answers, Carney heads to Europe.
The optics are brutal.
Because Canadians are beginning to confront a possibility they were told was unthinkable:
Maybe they chose the wrong guy.
Maybe electing the man who sounded sophisticated at Davos wasn’t the same thing as electing the man best equipped for a bare-knuckle negotiation with Donald Trump.
Maybe Canada’s biggest mistake was confusing polished speeches with strength.
Pierre Poilievre was mocked for being confrontational.
Too aggressive.
Too combative.
Too unwilling to play nice.
But when you’re negotiating with Donald Trump…
maybe those weren’t weaknesses.
Maybe they were exactly the qualities Canada needed.
The election is over.
There are no do-overs.
And if Canadians conclude they were sold an image of strength that disappeared the moment strength was actually required, that’s going to hurt far more than any campaign attack ever could.
Because eventually slogans meet reality.
ELBOWS UP met reality.
And the house of cards came crashing down.
🇨🇦 Canada CHOSE the wrong Prime Minister.
@Tablesalt13 What space agency? Is her application referring to the $200 million dollars Mark spent on a concrete pad on crown land? AND have a look at her....maybe the strong Chinese accent gave her away....😂
