Found a bug today in Trakedc
Duplicating a completed quote was carrying over the old costs instead of resetting to zero
Meaning your GP and payout figures on the new quote were wrong from the start
Fixed it + also fixed the ref number not incrementing correctly on duplicates
Small bugs, big consequences when you're tracking real money

So I'm building Trakedc β a CRM for renovation & building-repair firms:
β real-time project + cash visibility
β subbie claims & payables in one place
β commission off real margin, not guesswork
The big one: cash flow.
IDs prepay subcontractors, materials, staff and showroom rent before the client pays in full. Then the final 10% gets withheld over a snag.
You're financing your own client. On Excel.
Spent the week reading every Singapore renovation horror thread on HardwareZone and Renotalk.
The homeowner complaints are loud. But the operator pain underneath is the real story
@buildwithyasin Building Trakedc β a CRM made for reno + building-repair firms.
One place for the whole job: quote β invoice β commission payout. The part people like most β it tracks your real profit on every job in real time

What do you do when you suddenly have an idea when you are trying to sleep :
1) Go to sleep and continue tommorow
2) Open your phone note app and jot it down
3) Open Claude and start validating your idea
i am number 3
@JGdalevich For now contractors yes.I'm one myself, so I built it for my own pain first. Plan is to go deep here, win this trade properly, then clone the playbook into adjacent ones like interior design / reno down the line.
Most are on Excel, so onboarding takes time
