Last weekend 4 students from East Carteret High School lost their lives. Schools throughout the state are showing support for East Carteret by wearing camo. The Data & Accountability staff with Cumberland County Schools sends our thoughts and prayers to the East Carteret family.
Today I was honored to announce the Dr. Joseph Locklear/Ricky Lopes Central Services Employee of the Year Award for 2020 & 2021 to 2 deserving individuals. Dr. Marvin Connelly Jr. is pictured presenting the awards. Kenneth Villareal is the 20 & Shirley Bolden is the 21 winner.
Many years ago we left Time Warner/Spectrum and switched to DISH. I had forgotten why but today as I have waited for more than 4 hours on an internet service call I recall why we said enough is enough! I wish DISH had good internet service! No communication at all awful service

Tonight, the Cumberland County Schools Board of Education, approved a request to name the baseball field at 71st High School in honor of Mr. Ted Chappell. A dedication ceremony will be held April 18th at 71st at approximately 6:30 between JV and varsity. See my Facebook post.
