Today we remember the 2,977 lives lost, the families changed forever, and the first responders and everyday people who showed incredible courage in the middle of unimaginable tragedy.
For those we lost, for those who survived, and for everyone who still carries the weight of that day, we remember you.
25 years later, America remembers.
We will never forget.
There are levels to how people understand anything, and $XRP is a perfect example.
LEVEL 1 — THE PASSENGER
Doesn’t research shit. Heard somebody say $XRP is going to $10,000, bought some, and joined the crowd. Repeats whatever the last person said with confidence. Couldn’t explain what XRPL is if you asked.
LEVEL 2 — THE BARE MINIMUM
Did enough research to buy $XRP. Has a wallet. Watches price. Follows influencers. Still might not have their seed phrase properly secured and has never actually used the network.
LEVEL 3 — THE RESEARCHER
Starts asking better questions. Learns the difference between Ripple, $XRP, and XRPL. Understands wallets, transactions, supply, escrow, the DEX, AMMs, liquidity, payments, and why the asset exists.
This is where you stop depending on somebody else to tell you what you own.
LEVEL 4 — THE USER
Actually touches the technology. Uses Xaman. Sends $XRP. Uses the DEX. Buys something. Accepts a payment. Interacts with an NFT. Connects a wallet to a Web3 application.
A lot of things suddenly make sense here that never made sense from watching videos.
LEVEL 5 — THE OPERATOR
Starts thinking about what the infrastructure can do for them. Opens a business. Generates income. Uses assets instead of only holding them. Looks for opportunities inside the ecosystem instead of waiting for price.
LEVEL 6 — THE BUILDER
Gets underneath the interface. APIs. WebSockets. Ledger data. Transactions. Hooks. Payment flows. Wallet authentication. Infrastructure. Starts creating the tools everyone else eventually uses.
LEVEL 7 — THE ELITE THINKER
This person doesn’t stop at understanding what exists. They ask what’s missing.
They connect things other people look at separately. Technology. Money. Human behavior. Business. Liquidity. Incentives. Infrastructure.
They don’t need an influencer to tell them what to think. They gather information, test it, understand it, and form their own conclusions.
Most people never move very far up this list because every level requires more effort than the one before it. And that has very little to do with $XRP.
That’s just humans.
The crucifixion of Jesus is one of the greatest reminders of what real love looks like.
He was betrayed, mocked, beaten, and crucified, and still chose forgiveness. That kind of love is hard to even comprehend.
The cross reminds me that faith isn’t only for the easy days. It’s for the days when life hurts, when you don’t understand what’s happening, and when you have to keep trusting God anyway.
Jesus knew pain. He knew rejection. He knew suffering. And He still chose love.
That’s the standard.
Forgive. Love people. Keep your faith. Trust God even when you don’t have every answer.
One of the things I don’t think enough people understand about XRPL is how enjoyable it is to actually build on.
I’ve built on other chains, including Solana. XRPL is different.
The ledger already gives you a lot of the pieces you need. Accounts. Payments. Tokens. NFTs. Offers. The DEX. Escrow. Trust lines. Transaction history. And $XRP is the native asset sitting right in the middle of it. You’re not trying to reinvent the entire financial layer every time you build something.
Once you understand how the ledger thinks, building becomes extremely logical.
Then comes the part I really enjoy watching.
Somebody visits one of my sites, connects with Xaman, approves the login, and suddenly it clicks.
That’s the Web3 aha moment.
There’s no traditional username and password. Your wallet becomes your identity. The website knows which XRPL account is standing at the door, and from there it can interact with the ledger around that account.
Payments. Ownership. Access. Assets. Transactions. Digital property. $XRP. Whatever you decide to build.
That’s when people finally understand that Web3 isn’t just a different-looking website. The wallet is part of the application. The ledger is part of the application. $XRP is actually usable inside the application.
That’s why I enjoy building on XRPL so much. You can explain Web3 to somebody for hours, or you can let them connect Xaman to something you built and watch them understand it in about 30 seconds.
Then the light comes on.
“Oh. This is what Web3 is.”
Exactly.
@mrcauliman Your post is valuable. It provides the data going on in the XRP ledger. The other influencers provide a build board materials and warping the data to fit their narratives. It reminds me of what my statistics professor said to always look at the data on how it is presented.
$XRP LEDGER SUMMARY
I throw a lot of numbers at you guys in the daily ledger report because I want you to have the receipts. This is the part where I explain what those numbers actually mean.
The biggest thing I’m looking at today is RLUSD. There’s now about $1.04 billion of it issued directly on the $XRP Ledger, and it makes up around 91% of the stablecoin market on XRPL.
Why do I care about that? Because if the $XRP Ledger is going to handle more payments, trading, tokenized assets and financial infrastructure, it needs dollar liquidity sitting directly on the network too. $XRP doesn’t have to do every job itself.
The transaction count is the other number people screw up constantly. Around 2.5 million transactions sounds huge, but the useful part is what’s inside that number. About 919,000 were payments. More than 1.28 million were tied to orders being created or cancelled on XRPL’s built-in exchange.
That tells you the ledger is doing multiple jobs at once. It’s moving value, running an exchange and handling automated activity on the same network. The part I care about is that ledgers are still closing around every 3.9 seconds with low load while all of that is happening.
That’s a lot more useful than just screaming about a giant transaction count without knowing what the transactions actually were.
$XRP just crossed the first real line we’ve been waiting for since xrpld 3.3.0 shipped.
fixCleanup3_3_0 is now at 29 of 35 trusted validators, or 82.86%. The 14-day clock officially started at 11:15 UTC this morning. This is the first amendment from the 3.3.0 group to cross 80%.
For anyone who doesn’t understand how this works, 3.3.0 came out August 6. That didn’t turn all this shit on. The code became available and validators started voting on the individual amendments. An amendment has to get above 80% and stay there for 14 straight days before it can activate.
Earlier this week fixCleanup3_3_0 was around 63%. Three days ago it was 25 of 35. Now it’s 29 of 35 and the clock is running. If it stays above 80%, we’re looking at activation after September 11 at 11:15 UTC. If support drops back to 80% or lower, the clock resets.
Before somebody runs with this, Batch isn’t live. Confidential transfers aren’t live. Dynamic MPT isn’t live. Sponsor isn’t live. This amendment is cleanup work across vaults, lending, AMMs, the permissioned DEX, Checks and pseudo-accounts. Batch is getting closer though. It’s now at 21 of 35 validators, or 60%.
The ledger is busy this morning too. XRPSCAN is showing 1,814,874 transactions so far today, 1,606 newly activated accounts and 203.63 $XRP burned. Load is low and the base fee is still 10 drops.
Don’t look at 1.8 million transactions and think 1.8 million people sent money. Another XRPSCAN snapshot showed about 568,000 payments moving 70.8 million $XRP, plus 272,800 OfferCreate and 117,900 OfferCancel transactions. There’s a shitload of order-book activity mixed into that transaction number.
The XRPL DEX is sitting around 6.3 to 6.8 million $XRP in 24-hour volume, around 140,000 to 148,000 trades and close to 6,000 unique traders. AMMs are holding around 24.7 million $XRP across more than 22,000 pools.
RLUSD is sitting near $1 billion on XRPL, depending on which tracker you pull, and around $2.27 billion across XRPL and Ethereum combined.
The validator vote is the story this morning. We’ve been watching these numbers creep up since 3.3.0 shipped, and one finally crossed the line. 29 of 35. The clock is running. September 11 if it holds.
For those of you who don’t quite understand the plumbing behind the $XRP Ledger, here’s the part you actually need to know.
When you hear “XRPL activity is up,” that doesn’t automatically mean more people are sending $XRP. The ledger records a lot of different things. Payments, trades, order creation, cancellations, escrow activity and automation all count as transactions. That’s why the raw number by itself can be misleading.
What I care about is what’s underneath it. In the latest snapshot, hundreds of thousands of actual payments moved hundreds of millions of $XRP, while a large chunk of the rest came from activity on XRPL’s built-in exchange.
That means the ledger is doing more than one job at once. People are sending value, trading directly on-chain, using escrow, and running automated activity.
The same thing applies to upgrades. Just because new software is released doesn’t mean the new features are active. Validators still have to approve them, and the closest one is now one vote away from starting the two-week activation clock.
That’s the plumbing.
Once you understand that, the giant numbers people throw around on 𝕏 make a lot more sense.
Just want to say thank you for the incredible amount of support and appreciation here on 𝕏.
I’m doing my best to keep everybody informed with facts. I piss a lot of people off doing that, and sometimes there’s way too much noise coming at me, but the messages from people who actually appreciate the work make it worth it.
No one will love you more than Jesus.
“I wish I looked like her.”
“You are My masterpiece.”
“I feel invisible.”
“Your Father sees you.”
“I don’t have enough followers to make a difference.”
“I changed the world with 12.”
“Everyone leaves.”
“My Spirit won’t.”
“I feel like I’m drowning.”
“I won’t let you sink.”
“I can’t forgive myself.”
“You’ve already been forgiven.”
“They keep bringing up my past.”
“It was paid for on the cross.”
“They hate me for speaking truth.”
“They hated Me too.”
“They didn’t invite me.”
“I’ve been waiting all day to spend time with you.”
Talk to Jesus.
He’s listening.
“Always be happy because you belong to the Lord. I will say that again, ‘Be happy!’ Be kind and patient in a way that everyone can see. Remember that the Lord is near.
Do not worry about anything. Instead, pray to God about everything. Ask him to help you with the things that you need. And thank him for his help.
If you do that, God will give you peace in your minds. That peace is so great that nobody can completely understand it. You will not worry or be afraid, because you belong to Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:4–7
IMPORTANT FOR THE $XRP COMMUNITY
A scam is circulating across the XRPL right now, and a lot of wallets are receiving it.
Scammers are sending random XRPL Checks or other transactions to public wallet addresses. Inside the transaction memo, they include a website link and language designed to make it look like you need to claim, verify, redeem, or take some kind of action.
Do not click the link in the memo.
The ledger activity itself doesn’t mean they have access to your wallet. Your XRPL address is public, so anybody can send transactions or Checks toward it.
The danger starts when someone follows the link, connects their wallet, enters sensitive information, or signs a transaction they don’t understand.
If a random Check appears in your wallet with a link in the memo, do not interact with it.
Do not click it.
Do not connect your wallet.
Do not enter your seed phrase or private keys.
Do not sign anything.
Ignore it.
Scammers are using the XRPL itself to deliver the phishing bait. Seeing it on-chain does not make the website legitimate.
Please share this with the $XRP community. People are getting these right now.
I'm no influencer jack.
Your comments are subjective opinion based off God knows what motive.
And XRP is the token, XRPL is the technology. Yes and if you knew much you'd know core banking software aita on old mainframes and are 40 years old.
You have been programmed by the likes of apple to think your software gets old, cos they sell you more hardware.
Financial software is like wine, it just gets better with age.
XRPL does exactly what it's supposed to, distributed ledger technology. And it's been tried and proven for 14 years.
I am a software engineer, and like most people who build on XRPL, and other blockchains know them intimately, I didint get my info from you tubers, or shillers. I got off from experience, reading and learning THE CODE.
Can you say the same? If so, let's hear your objective facts as to why it's old technology, and God you think it's manipulated?
Or are you simply taking about the token XRP and got a bit confused?
