According to YouVersion, the most engaged-with verse of 2025 was Isaiah 41:10:

“Do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.

I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

That’s God’s promise—and it means we don’t have to be afraid as we step into this new year.

The evangelist said Kirk “put his faith in the Lord, and that is the hope that we all have if we do the same.”
Laurie encouraged his listeners to embrace Christ in their individual searches for meaning.

“We felt like, ‘Let’s go to this place where an unspeakable act of darkness took place and shine the radiant light of the Gospel,'” Laurie said. “Charlie really cared about the Gospel, and when he would go into these campuses like UVU and others, he would always talk about Christ. People would ask him about his beliefs; that’s what motivated them. That’s what gave him his worldview.”
He continued, “Charlie’s in heaven.”
Laurie, like other faith leaders, believes God has moved mightily even after Kirk’s tragic death, turning evil on its head and using it for good.

A memorial service for Charlie Kirk was held at Allstate Stadium. Normally, a memorial is a somber affair—everyone in black, whispering polite clichés about “a life well lived.” But this was different.

Attendees were asked to wear red, white, and blue in honor of Charlie and the country he loved. And honestly? It looked more like a Harvest Crusade than a funeral. Chris Tomlin, Phil Wickham, Brandon Lake, Kari Jobe, and Cody Carnes led worship, while speaker after speaker not only honored Charlie but proclaimed Christ. In other words, exactly what he would have wanted—Charlie’s memorial turned into a revival.

T.H.I.N.K. Before you speak, before you post, before you tweet, before you communicate, ask yourself five quick questions.

One, is what I’m about to say True? Do you know it for a fact?

Two, is it Helpful? The fact that something is true doesn’t mean it should be said. Saying, “You look like you’ve gained weight” may be true, but it’s probably not helpful.

Three, is it Inspiring? Will it bring someone down or lift them up?

Four, is it Necessary? Would it be better left unsaid?

Five, is it Kind? Will it touch someone’s heart? Asking yourself these questions before you speak can save you a lot of trouble.
