I was on a SouthWest 737 and noticed what I thought was a significant amount oil leaking out of the right engine high bypass cowling. I’m a private pilot with a single engine land rating and in my world oil running out of the engine cowling is considered a very bad thing. I pointed it out to a flight attendant and the first officer came back and looked at it. I was as told it was normal (he explained why but I can’t recall why). I was somewhat embarrassed but better safe than sorry.
“Why do you need an AR-15?”
Ask the police.
Because they have them.
They have the rifles.
They have the 30-round magazines.
They have the gear politicians keep saying is too dangerous for you.
And nobody asks them why they need it.
Why?
Because the answer is obvious:
They carry it to confront violent people.
But here’s the part everyone skips…
Who meets that violent person first?
You do.
The cop shows up after the threat starts.
You’re the one already there.
No badge.
No backup.
No radio.
No team.
And the Supreme Court has already said police do not have a constitutional duty to protect you as an individual.
So if the state keeps these tools for the people who arrive second…
Why does it want to take them from the person who has to survive first?
That’s the question.
Drop your answer below — and send this to the person who still asks, “Why do you need that?”
Absolutely. This is a total lie.
All DOGE did was require contact with the aid recipients to confirm that funds were being used legitimately. Anything less than this is insane!
Multiple people from USAID have been charged by the Justice Department with stealing money.
Moreover, they pled GUILTY!!

Elon Musk just proved that ownership in America is a legal fiction.
Musk: “You get taxed on what you earn, you get taxed on what you buy, and you get taxed on what you own.”
Think about what property tax actually means.
You worked for decades. Paid it off in full. The deed is in your name.
Stop paying the government its annual fee. Watch them take it and sell it to someone who will.
You never owned that house. You were leasing it from an entity you never signed a contract with.
Income tax tells the same truth in softer packaging.
The government does not take a portion of your earnings. They decide how much of your own labor you are permitted to keep.
That is not semantics. It is a confession of who the system believes your time belongs to first.
Sales tax buries itself in the receipt. Two people exchange value voluntarily. A third party who contributed nothing takes a cut simply for allowing it to happen.
Now stack all three.
Taxed when you create. Taxed when you spend. Taxed when you hold. Taxed again when you die and try to pass it to your children.
At no point in that cycle does the system recognize your output as yours.
Because money is not an abstraction. It is crystallized human lifespan.
Every dollar taxed is an hour you already lived, already bled for, already gone.
The state is not managing an economy. It is claiming dominion over time you will never get back.
And spending it on systems you never asked for and actively oppose.
The institution extracting all of it faces zero obligation to perform. A contractor who delivers nothing gets fired. A bureaucracy that burns through trillions gets a budget increase the next fiscal year.
SpaceX pays taxes to the agencies that obstruct its launches. Tesla funds the regulators drafting rules to shield its competitors.
The builders are not subsidizing government. They are financing their own friction.
The tax code is 74,000 pages long. Not because the economy demands it. Because the extraction had to be buried in enough complexity that you would stop asking who it was designed to protect.
The past belonged to the people who taxed the world.
The future belongs to the people who build it.
When I was Muslim, I never asked who built the golden calf. I just knew it was a sin in the desert.
Then I read both accounts and one detail stopped me cold.
In the Bible, the man who builds the golden calf is AARON. Moses’ own brother. The first high priest. Exodus 32:4.
He gathers the gold, melts it, shapes the idol. And when Moses confronts him, he gives the weakest excuse in scripture: “I threw the gold in the fire and out came this calf.” As if it made itself.
Bro. The Bible just put the worst sin in the camp in the hands of the holiest man in the camp.
You would NEVER write that if you were protecting your prophets.
Now read the Quran. Surah 20. Aaron is cleared. Innocent. He tried to stop it. The blame goes to a mystery man called “al-Samiri.” The Samaritan. Surah 20:85.
You know what shook me? The Bible incriminates its own high priest.
The Quran writes him an alibi and invents a villain.
One reads like an honest record. The other like damage control.
And there’s a second problem with that villain. “The Samaritan.” But Samaritans didn’t exist in Moses’ time.
The city of Samaria wasn’t founded until about 500 years later, under King Omri. 1 Kings 16:24.
It’s like putting a Texan at the Last Supper.
Now, some Muslim scholars push back — they say “Samiri” means something else. I’ll be fair, that argument exists. But their own classical commentators read it as “the Samaritan” for centuries.
The defense only works by re-translating away from how the tradition always understood it.
I used to say the Bible was corrupted. But the Bible is honest enough to say the high priest built the idol.
Only a book honest about how bad we are could point me to a Savior real enough to fix it.
The Bible never flattered Aaron. It didn’t flatter me either. It just told me the truth, and handed me Jesus.
When leftists lose, they get REALLY violent.
The second the USAID slush fund got cut off, they started losing country after country across Latin America. Bolivia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Chile, Ecuador. And Peru’s next.
So now they’re rioting in the streets of Bolivia for the fifth week straight.
“Protect our democracy” is what they scream when they hold power.
But when they lose is blockades, violence, and trying to burn the result.
This filthy tactic has to be crushed.
They don’t get to normalize using force to cling to power, win or lose.
As always, Milei was dead right.
Never give shit leftists an inch.
@mattvanswol@arianajasmine__ They murdered members of the government who were getting rich off of the people.....the people doing that today are not Musk, they are Bernie Sanders, AOC, Elizabeth Warren, Nancy Pelosi, the obama's.......
No, you don't get it.
He does not have $1 trillion sitting in cash, it is 99% stock in his companies.
To make that wealth liquid would mean selling all that stock which would swiftly destroy *both* the companies (Tesla, SpaceX, others) and the wealth. If he sold it all, he'd end up with maybe $100b max, several hundred thousand people would be out of work, the companies ruined and many of their suppliers also ruined.
Okay, but now Elon has $100b in cash, and can "solve the world's problems".
$100b divided by the world's 8 billion people is $12
If you were in charge, several of the most innovative industrial companies in the world would be destroyed, hundreds of thousands out of work, and space would again close to human civilization for another generation.
But everyone on earth could have one nice meal and you could revel in your altruism.
@GuntherEagleman I wouldn't trust the IRGC to honor any "deal". The only deal that works with them is to plant every goat loving one of them six feet under.
@CynicalPublius It sucks. I set my Google TV to show apps only because I’m sick and tired of seeing that appropriated rainbow flag every time I turn the Telly on.
Marc Andreessen just explained how the United States assassinated its own future.
In the 1970s, the Nixon administration launched something called Project Independence.
The mandate was absolute.
Andreessen: “Build a thousand new civilian nuclear power plants in the US by the year 2000.”
One thousand reactors. Unlimited, carbon-free baseload power. Enough electricity to move the entire country to electric vehicles four decades ahead of everyone else.
But it went further than energy.
Andreessen: “It’s called Project Independence because it means the US won’t have to be involved in the Middle East anymore, because we won’t need the oil.”
No oil dependence. No Gulf Wars. No generations of soldiers stationed in deserts protecting supply chains that never needed to exist.
A complete strategic withdrawal from the Middle East. Permanent.
And none of this was hypothetical.
Andreessen: “France ran for a long time almost entirely on nuclear power. Japan ran for a long time almost entirely on nuclear power.”
Other nations proved it worked at scale. America had more capital, more engineers, and more ambition than all of them.
Andreessen: “How many nuclear power plants were built out of the thousand? Rounds to zero.”
Zero.
Not because the physics failed. Not because something superior replaced it.
Because the same administration that drafted the blueprint for unlimited energy also created the institution that killed it.
Andreessen: “They never got built because the Nixon administration also created the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, which made it its purpose in life is to stop nuclear power plants from getting built.”
Same government. Same decade. Same pen.
One directive launching the most ambitious energy program in American history.
Another creating the bureaucracy that would quietly dismantle it from the inside.
Andreessen: “The Nuclear Regulatory Commission did not approve a new nuclear plant design for 40 years.”
Forty years of zero approved designs. Not because no one submitted them. Because the institution built to regulate nuclear energy became the institution built to prevent it.
That’s not oversight.
That’s abolition dressed as due diligence.
We spent the next fifty years fighting wars in the desert for a resource we never needed.
Choked the atmosphere with carbon we didn’t have to burn.
Terrified an entire generation with the illusion of scarcity.
And the entire time, the physics already worked.
The government didn’t fail to navigate the energy crisis.
They took the densest source of energy in the universe and drowned it in paperwork.
Every war fought for oil. Every carbon debate. Every geopolitical crisis of the last half century.
All of it was a policy choice.
We didn’t lack the technology to power the future.
We let a committee outlaw the math.
My husband Abraham was diagnosed with a very rare sacral chordoma. The surgery to remove bone and surrounding tissue lasted almost seven hours and was successful. He had a rough night and is in a lot of pain but is finally home resting. Now recovery begins. We’re so grateful for the outpouring of prayers and kind messages from all of you. Our hearts are full. ❤️
🚨#BREAKING: It has been revealed that out of the $100,000 the city of Charlotte, NC set aside to help families affected by ICE's "Operation Charlotte's Web"...
...$0 of it reached those families
Yes, ZERO DOLLARS.
The application required a VALID SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER and only 3 PEOPLE qualified.
They quietly scrapped the ENTIRE PROJECT 🤣🤣🤣
@brutalcams I pass left lane bandits on the right quite often in my cage or on my bike but I never waste my time interacting with them once I’m by. This biker is an idiot.
@WhitakerTA_@BurchRache76277 Let’s end those bitches once and for all. Everyone is tired of Iran’s shit. I got 47 years of Iran fatigue. Yes, I remember vividly when they took the hostages.
