@BHAHorseracing Utter Woke Nonsense. If the BHA did not read the room the first time, they compound it by this followup. Let me get the little Violin's out for you lot. Take some criticism when it's warranted and do not confuse it with abuse. Just do your job correctly and most will be happy..
@ace_grading@RandolphUK@ace_grading Based in Ireland, your company was the option I was using, even though your graded cards realise lower values than similar grading companies. You are now just a scalper of the grading world. Scale up, don't put the prices up 50%+. Disappointed
It’s a complete nonsense. The only relevant thing is a horse having an up to date vaccine certificate that covers the current strain of equine flu.
Hunter Chases didn’t need to be cancelled, Trainers just needed to provide proof that any horse entered had their certificate.
To cancel Champion Hunter Chases night at Stratford, is just a ridiculous over reaction. Both Owners and Trainers have waited for that night all season, and it’s been needlessly taken away from them. For many it was a one-off lifetime opportunity, and because James Given is more concerned with optics, than science and facts, it’s been cancelled. An approach from him, and an end result that I am all too personally aware of.
Then to claim the @Goffs1866 Sale at Doncaster this week would be a super-spreader is just sensationalism. All horses are required to have current vaccine certificates. It’s just blatantly untrue.
Given seems to want to make a name for himself, rather than do what is the right thing for the sport. His approach is not dissimilar to my other experiences with the BHA, where they make rules up as they go along. Decisions are made behind closed doors, and they don’t allow debate or counter-argument. And if you disagree with the ‘make it up as you go along approach’, threats are made. The type they don’t allow you to defend, because the decision is made behind closed doors, and not surprisingly the BHA always support their own people.
Racing faces more than enough challenges at the moment, and doesn’t need the BHA’s head vet causing more damage like this. How hard is it to ask a racing yard to provide proof that a vaccine is up to date? Not hard at all. But instead he recommends that significant races are cancelled, and the BHA blindly support it, allowing no mechanism for it to be challenged.
Racing is in a tough spot at the moment. The current affordability review will damage racing beyond repair if approved, finances are weak, prize money is poor, and pertinently owners are disappearing in significant numbers as a result. The last thing racing needs is Given to speed the process up by creating yet another level of disillusionment.
Imagine paying your Irish TV and Radio Licence to listen to the bullshit they produce and present out of their State Company RTE...This state company and the Government of Ireland is so out of touch with the common people, spinning their own directives and agendas. #NOBIAS

Irish Politicians and Leaders stand in Unity together; the Irish People Stand in Unity together.
It's a shame the Politicians and Leaders of this Country do not stand in Unity with their own People...
The Taoiseach is being petty and disingenuous when he says he won’t meet with the protesters unless they are a national representative group: Some members of the group on O Connell Street and around the country are in the @ContractorsFCI who have previously met with Ministers and his Minister @peterburkefg knows them personally - he should swallow his pride and get on with the discussions which would immediately end the protests - and ease difficulties for the public who are caught in the middle .

@puretelecomirl Well done to your sales selling us a package, you did not think to tell us that it takes 24-48hours for the phone to switch over. We have a disabled person who depends on the phone for contact and also their personal fall alarms, without service over the weekend!
@ArdaleRecruit@Richyfarrissey@officialgaa "as well as payments to GAA hq for player injury fund."
Are you sure about this? Local lad I know got badly injured training and no insurance to cover him from Club or GAA..
