@DigWaterloo What's the metal? It looks like pewter. Perhaps it us the handle of a spoon or fork engraved with the owners name. D*MON.... I assume it was found in the Hougoumont sector.
@TomBilyeu Of course he is acting like a dictator. It is what he said he would do before the elections. Under Trump the US is acting like a predator on the world stage, opening a trade war on its European allies, threatening to take territory. And its going to get much worse inside the US
I'm at the Jefferson Memorial in DC and I'm struck by his wise words on the wall here - something Americans seem to have forgotten.
The US is the world's oldest democracy, and these days that's not working in its favor. They are operating under a 240-year-old constitution which is treated with semi-religious reverence as if it was chiseled on tablets by Moses. It very clearly isn't fit for the 21st century, but because of American polarisation there is no hope that a civilian government could ever call a constitutional convention to change it or, these days, even amend it.
"With the change of circumstances, institutions must advance also to keep pace with the times" said Jefferson.
And yet, the US is still saddled with archaic institutions like the Senate filibuster and the electoral college which there is no hope of changing. They're forcing themselves to let everyone have machine guns because of a vague clause scribbled on a piece of paper two centuries ago.
This is why I have so much more hope for the younger democracies of Europe. They can adapt their governing structures to modern times. The European Project is ever-evolving, and the French constitution only dates from 1958. But, for many years now, America has seemed to me to be too old to function. https://t.co/sjwQvRQyDo
@Peter_Molloy_ It is very special. You get a great sense of the person from the letters he wrote to his parents and siblings. We brought my father many years ago to the exact location of the last bayonet charge on Kiretch Tepe as the Dublins were running out of ammo.
@MauroBianchi24 Mauro, don't beat yourself up about it. EW never gives a single definitive count. A different CPI reading and your count would have been correct. Now price will just take a slightly different route but I think the destination is the same. Looking forward to your next update.
@MauroBianchi24 Sorry to hear that, Mauro. You really do have a talent for this and I have found your analysis hugely helpful. Unfortunately I was too late for your discord group. So I do appreciate that you also share your insights on Twitter. Many thanks!

@Workhard130 That spike has finished. Nothing else since. So I think we already saw its impact on price when it went down to 41.8k. I expect we might see another sell spike to mark the next peak. Remarkable how close BTC is tracking NASDAQ at the moment even on the LTF. Where NASDAQ goes ..
