Vorige week was Starter’s day voor de 336 nieuwe bachelor studenten kiné en revalidatiewetenschappen @KULeuvenPT! Onze lesgevers gaven demo’s over revalidatie van de toekomst, zoals wespen schieten in een VR game op ons CAREN platform ter balanstraining door prof @MoranGilat

Na de succesvolle digitale verdediging van haar proefschrift 'Gently down the stream' eind maart kreeg mijn dochter vandaag haar doctoraalbul overhandigd in de Agnietenkapel van @UvA_Amsterdam.
Ze is nu officieel dr. ir. Leonie de Rond. Proficiat!

Vandaag heeft mijn zus, Leonie de Rond, dan eindelijk haar PhD diploma in ontvangt mogen nemen na een online promotie in maart. Super trots!

I noticed that the danger of taking a break at my desk is that I still kinda work a little.

In the end, the break was neither recharging nor was I productive in those tiny tasks that I did.

Had an amazing weekend in Porto with these three @KeepControl1 fellows. In the end, being part of a European ITN network is not only good for building an international research network, but maybe even more so for making international friends! :)
