Throughout my life I have had many gay/lesbian friends. None of them were "militant" about it, it's just who they were. They were not trans, just gay.

Some may not realize just how spot-on this is. Some don't know how good society used to be.

For example, he mentions how he'd change TV...

In my mom's lifetime it's gone from no bellybuttons could be shown and they couldn't say the word "pregnant." If a TV couple was shown in their bedroom, they had two separate beds.

Everything on TV was family friendly...

Now - look where we are now. I canceled Netflix a while back after learning that 8 shows for kids and toddlers have "trans" characters.
