@brooksbenjamin As a middle school librarian, I can assure that this is 1000% true. It can be difficult to help 7th and 8th graders find books that aren’t too “baby” or too mature!
This #TXGovDebate is so aggravating!! I donated to help ensure a change for Texas (instead of more of the same we’ve had the last 7 years). Please join me!
Friends, the debate between Beto O’Rourke and Greg Abbott hasn’t even started yet and we’ve ALREADY raised $5K for Beto O’Rourke, Mike Collier, and Rochelle Garza.
Our goal is $46K by midnight. Can you join us in helping elect Texas Democrats? Donate 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
@EdTechBrandi So grateful to have learned from you! You helped gear to me be a better librarian and taught me to trust myself as a librarian. You have left a mark here, for sure!
As you prepare home-based and digital learning options for your students due to school closures, please ensure kids have engaging, accessible books to read. Many do not own books or possess library cards. #bookaccessforall
@LisdLearns A5: "We before Me" is SO important. I am seeing my son thrive on his football team with the "Team is greater that I" mentality. One way we move to focusing on the team is by serving. Doing for the team what we can--make copies, send emails, etc. #LISDchat
@LisdLearns A4: By holding ourselves as accountable as we hold others. As others have said, we speak with love and respect as we work together and holding each other accountable to our common goals. #LISDchat
@LisdLearns Q3: The One Percent Rule. One percent more each day is not that much to ask, but like the lacrosse team found, the whole team just doing 1% more made a HUGE difference! #LISDchat
