Because the Northeast does not need sympathy.

It needs better access, stronger institutions and policies designed with the people—not merely for them.

“Northeast Opportunity & Connectivity Strategist.”

My bold idea: No young person in Northeast India should have to leave home simply because opportunity did not reach them.

Success would mean:

I would also create a “Policy Feedback Loop.”

Every policy would be tested on the ground.

What works? What fails? Who is being left out?

Feedback from citizens would return directly to policymakers.

A young person should not need to understand complicated government websites and paperwork to access opportunity.

Policy must become easier to find and easier to use.

My day would begin by listening—not assuming.

I would travel to towns, villages and border areas to understand what young people, farmers, entrepreneurs, students and communities actually need.
