hello, world! i'm daniel! currently i'm the head of r&d of MiniMax code @MiniMax_AI, which is a frontier ai lab in china.
i enjoy working on our ai-native product @MiniMaxAgent . i'm really obsessed with this question: what does an ai-native organization look like? how can our organization co-evolve together with llms?
besides that, i'm passionate about open source. i'm the co-author of the deerflow project, which is a representative work in harness engineering and has 78k 🌟 on github.
if you're passionate about open source, foundation models, or agents- or if you enjoy playing basketball or riding a road bike - let's chat and be friends! :)
My family was stuck outside today. The smart lock accepted the password and even said "unlocked", but the door wouldn't open. A locksmith came, said he'd have to pry it, and still charged a call-out fee.
When I got home, MiniMax Code walked me through it step by step. It was just a settings issue. Door opened. That's AI helping in real life.
Had a wonderful time at AI Engineer Shanghai—grateful for the chance to give a talk and meet so many great people building with AI.
One idea I hope you'll take away: stay curious. We don't have all the answers about how agents will evolve, so run your own experiments. Let what you learn—not someone else's recipe—guide what you build.

If you're building with coding agents, give MiniMax Code a try. We'd love to hear what you think.
