Actually, this is the reason why I tend to think the EN fanbase’s hyper-fixation on “colonization” and the dragons’ vengeance is not really relevant in the Genshin context, if not completely off.

Genshin is a story of HUMANS. We have Neuvillette and Little One but we all know where they stand.

So, Hoyo basically guided us to accept the fact that humans ARE the principal beneficiary of the colonisation, now what, be nihilistic or be pragmatic and try to survive the abyss?

A human with ideals more radical than HP but powerless to do anything substantial would be a saint compared to Fatui in this context, simply because the person doesn't have resource to implement them.

So, ideals and approaches matter more when judging political candidates.

My view is still same.

If one thinks its ok to make all necessary sacrifice (other nations) to purge the bigger evil (abyss/HP) and preserve the greater good (concept of humans/freedom), then do it.

But don't twitch when tyrannical similarities mentioned.
