@newtonsarah Yes, but I don’t use it for social comms - just looking really - but you can message me on that I think??. Am trying to get acquainted with Substack.
Today I have cancelled my subscription to x - long overdue. I’m now embarrassed to bankroll it. My account will continue to be visible and I will continue to look at it from time to time, so I can reconnect with hundreds of good people I follow and who follow me. There are many ways to contact me including my own websites, email and Substack. Over time I will re-connect elsewhere with friends like @Concraigsmith@seatsixtyone @MarkDiacono @SheilaDillon@Outofmyshed@charbhardy@RNBlake - to name but a few. I used to enjoy the supportive chat on Twitter. Do contact me - DMs still open.

I read yesterday that all the Curzon cinemas have been sold off. Many of them are architectural gems, all of them are cultural beacons. I’d say there will be more demolition applications coming our way. Sad.
@theAliceRoberts@wmarybeard I think you Alice and Mary underestimate the power of your personalities and intellect. By all means try to look presentable, wear joyous colours, etc. but I think serious cosmetic procedures always obliterate our individuality, rather than enhance us. This is me!
@RoryStewartUK The US election teaches us a lesson. Labour say it will take ten years to fix the mess. But they won’t get the chance if the floating voters don’t feel better off and more positive about politics far sooner than that.
