@DavidDeutschOxf GDP isn't good at measuring something it wasn't meant to? Look at that
GDP was never meant to be a measure of well-being or human flourishing, the creator specifically said that. It was made to simply measure the output of an economy so governments knew how to plan production
@austincampbell@clairlemon Tightening immigration laws just leads to higher prices. Not sure how putting upward pressure on wages and thus all goods, services, and even homes is how you get to affordability.
The Broncos have contacted Ja'Quan McMillian and his agent Deryk Gilmore for a possible contact extension with Denver, per @christomasson
Nothing is close to done, but the sides have had dialogue about an extension 👀
@cabsav456 No one uses the word election to mean anything other than actual poll day. And if you use it as how VA Supreme said, you get ridiculous outcomes where election day is actually election months. No weeds needed, just a reference to basic English .
@cabsav456 So you think it makes sense under the English language that on day one of early voting you can say: the election is today. And then you can say that every day until early voting is over?
Basic principles of English were violated to get the Republican outcome, it was partisan.
@cabsav456 So then you know based on that ruling, in an election year there's several months where civil courts cannot call in witnesses to testify because an election is ongoing during early voting, right? If election day became a holiday, would Virginians get three months off?
On May 24, 1995, Hakeem watched David Robinson win the MVP that he thought he deserved, and responded with a 41-16-4-3-2 in a win.
Nearly 31 years later to the day, Wemby watched SGA win the MVP that he campaigned for, and responded with a 41-24-3-1-3.
Total brilliance.
