Why can nobody give credit to Tampa Bay

Including today's loss, the Yankees have gone 7-3 over the last 10 games. In that time and they have managed to lose another game to Tampa Bay in the standings

I never want to hear the pathetic shills tell me again that games early in the year don't matter. That midsummer stretches where they look awful are okay because some guys are hurt. That as long as they get healthy and hot in September they can still win the division.

All of that is reliant on the team you are chasing slowing down at some points. Which Tampa Bay hasn't. The same Tampa Bay team we were told wasn't good and was prime for regression.

It's exactly why you need to take games seriously the whole year. You're never going to win 110 or more games, and it's foolish to expect that, but every year they give away winnable games in May and June and July and then miss out on the division by two or three games. Last year it was a tiebreaker. Where literally one game would have made the difference.
