श्रमिकों के प्रोटेस्ट की आड़ में कुछ गंभीर घटनाएं सवाल खड़े करती हैं। सैलरी बढ़ने की मांग तो सरकार ने मान ली, लेकिन श्रमिकों के बीच घूम रहे वो उपद्रवी कौन थे जो नोएडा के बाहर से आए थे…? दूसरे ऑफिसों पर पत्थर फेंकना, आग लगाना, सोशल मीडिया पर झूठी खबरें फैलाना… इसके पीछे कौन है, उसकी जांच होनी चाहिए ।
UP CM Yogi Adityanath announced:
1) Wages have been increased by up to 21%.
2) A team has been formed to address workers’ concerns.
3) A Wage Board has been put in place to ensure further revisions, signalling a long-term commitment rather than short-term appeasement.
In states like West Bengal and Kerala, long periods of communist influence saw repeated strikes, labour unrest, and policies that discouraged industries. Over time, several companies either shut down or moved out, leading to job losses and economic slowdown. The biggest sufferers were often the workers themselves.
Now look at Noida today. Fake news is being spread claiming that 150 vehicles were burned. It is emerging as a major industrial and employment hub, playing an important role in the economy of Uttar Pradesh. But the recent protests turning violent, damage to public property, and rising chaos raise serious concerns.
