ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ 73ನೇ ಜನ್ಮ ದಿನದ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗಷ್ಟೇ ನಡೆದ G20 ಶೃಂಗಸಭೆಯ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಮಂಡ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಹಲವಾರು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಅನೇಕ ಸಲಹೆ ಸಹಕಾರವನ್ನು ಮಾನ್ಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಒತ್ತಡ ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಡುವಿಲ್ಲದ ಕೆಲಸಗಳ ನಡುವೆಯೂ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಭೇಟಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಿದ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶದ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾದರಿ. ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು ಸರ್.

I warmly welcome the tabling of the Bill in the Lok Sabha proposing a 33% reservation for women in the Legislative Assembly and Lok Sabha.

This historic Bill was first introduced in the Rajya Sabha on September 12, 1996, during the tenure of Prime Minister Shri @H_D_Devegowda. Unfortunately, it faced strong opposition from allies within his coalition government and was not passed. It's worth noting that leaders from the Congress I.N.D.I.A. alliance were among those who opposed the Bill.

I am delighted to see that ShriDeve Gowda's vision has been rekindled after 27 years.
In 1995, when he served as the Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri Deve Gowda initiated a groundbreaking era of women's empowerment by granting them reservations in local bodies and empowering them to hold positions of authority. This move left the entire country in awe of the transformative change happening in our state.

Today, the Women's Reservation Bill is poised to be passed in the Lok Sabha, fulfilling the dream of the former Prime Minister. Today, the need to provide equal rights and opportunities for women is more pressing than ever. I commend the decision taken by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi and the cabinet. My earnest request is for all political parties to ysupport this bill, transcending political boundaries.

ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ಮತ್ತು ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಶೇ.33ರಷ್ಟು ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡುವ ಮಸೂದೆ ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಡನೆ ಆಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ಶ್ರೀ @H_D_Devegowda ಅವರು ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ 1996 ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 12ರಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಬಿಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ, ಅವರ ಸಂಯುಕ್ತರಂಗ ಸರಕಾರದ ಮೈತ್ರಿಕೂಟದ ಕೆಲ ಮಿತ್ರಪಕ್ಷಗಳೇ ತೀವ್ರ ವಿರೋಧ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಆ ಮಸೂದೆ ಅಂಗೀಕಾರ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇವತ್ತು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಸಿನ I.N.D.I.A. ಮೈತ್ರಿಕೂಟವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ನಾಯಕರೇ ಅಂದು ಈ ಮಸೂದೆಗೆ ತಡೆ ಒಡ್ಡಿದ್ದರು.

27 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ನಂತರ ಮಾನ್ಯ ದೇವೇಗೌಡರ ಕನಸಿಗೆ ಮರುಜೀವ ಬಂದಿರುವುದು ನನಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದೆ.

1995ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನ್ಯ ದೇವೇಗೌಡರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲು ನೀಡಿ, ಅಧಿಕಾರ ನಡೆಸುವ ಹಕ್ಕು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣದ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಂದಿ ಹಾಡಿದ್ದರು. ಅಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಘಟಿಸಿದ ಈ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಕಾರಿ ವಿದ್ಯಮಾನವನ್ನು ಇಡೀ ದೇಶವೇ ಬೆರಗು ಕಂಗಳಿಂದ ನೋಡಿತ್ತು.

ಇಂದು ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮೀಸಲು ಮಸೂದೆ ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಗೀಕಾರ ಆಗುವುದು ಖಚಿತವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾಜಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಗಳ ಕನಸು ನನಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನ ಹಕ್ಕು, ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವುದು ಇಂದಿನ ತುರ್ತು. ಮಾನ್ಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ @narendramodi ಅವರು, ಮತ್ತವರ ಸಂಪುಟ ಕೈಗೊಂಡ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಶ್ಲಾಘನೀಯ. ರಾಜಕೀಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅತೀತವಾಗಿ ಈ ಮಸೂದೆಯನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವುದು ನನ್ನ ಮನವಿ.

ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವು ಪ್ರಗತಿಯ ದಾರಿದೀಪವಾಗಬೇಕೇ ವಿನಃ ರಾಜಕೀಯದ ದಾಳವಾಗಬಾರದು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿ 2020 ಅನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಗಿತಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಿಎಂ ಅವರ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪ್ರೇರಿತ ನಿರ್ಧಾರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದು ನಿರಾಶೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ವಿಕಸನದ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಹಿಂಜರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲ. ಎನ್‍ಇಪಿ ಎಂಬುದು ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಗಂಭೀರ ಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಜನರ ಆಶೋತ್ತರಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುವ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‍ (@INCIndia)ನ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ-ವಿರೋಧಿ, ಭಾರತೀಯ ಭಾಷಾ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಬಹಿರಂಗಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವು ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಶೀಲ ಮತ್ತು ಸವ೯ರನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆಗೆ ಬೆಲೆಕೊಡುವ ನಾಯಕತ್ವವನ್ನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತದೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಕ್ಷುಲ್ಲಕ ರಾಜಕಾರಣವನ್ನಲ್ಲ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಭವ್ಯ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತ್ತಿತಗೆ ಮೊದಲ ಆದ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡೋಣ. ಕ್ಷುಲ್ಲಕ ರಾಜಕಾರಣ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸೋಣ!

A Historic Day For Our Film Industry!

After the successful passage of The Cinematograph (Amendment Bill) 2023 in the Rajya Sabha, the bill also got passed in the Lok Sabha.

India is known as the country of story-tellers and has the distinction of producing the highest number of films in the world. Our movies reflect our culture, traditions and are a major component of our soft power, whose influence has surmounted the barriers of time and boundaries. 

To further promote our film industry and bring a positive change in the lives of everyone associated with it, right from the spot boy to makeup artists to producers to distributors, the necessary amendment was brought into the bill. 

It will fight the menace of piracy, ensure minimum government interference as the need to renew the licence in every 10 years is done away with & categorisation & certification are also streamlined.

In the #AmritKaal of our Independence, this law will enable our film industry to grow by leaps & bounds, bring employment to thousands of people & will play a prominent role in taking India to the top 3 economies of the world as envisioned by Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji.
