No neighbour countries trust India any more after India’s foolish policies with 6-7 neighbour countries.

Sri Lanka was accused of interference and India manoeuvred around Sri Lanka’s economic crisis in 2022 pushing Sri Lanka towards China.

Bangladesh traditionally had close relations with India which frayed after Modi took over in 2014 following border disputes and infiltration accusations and Sheikh Hasina’s ouster.

Myanmar too is upset with India after serious infiltration accusations after 2021 coup.

Maldives was a close ally of India which was squandered away after foolish handling of Maldives elections resulting in ‘India Out’ campaign in 2023-24 galvanising in Maldives and India boycotting Maldives.

Pakistan, China, Nepal (especially after India’s unofficial border blockade in 2015) have been unfriendly with India due to ill thought policies and mishandling of crisis regularly under domestic politics pressure.

So, no neighbouring countries will have good ties with India!
