Great news for our Eagles! Summer Workouts will resume on Wed, July 15. Girls will workout out at 9am and the boys will workout at 6pm. The UIL will require that student-athletes arrive at workouts wearing a mask, but anytime they are exercising, the mask may be removed.

Congratulations to Juniors Jacob Torrez and Kenyon Taylor. These two young men were voted to the 2-3A All-District Basketball team. Quite an accomplishment considering the amount of talent and good players that were in this district. Congrats!

Lubbock Roosevelt Varsity Boys split games today in the Caprock Tourney. We lost to Lubbock Christian but won the late game vs. Archer City. The boys stand 14-3 with a game tomorrow against Wichita City View at 10:30am at Lubbock Cooper HS.

Lubbock Roosevelt Boys (11-2) sweep all four games this weekend to capture their 2nd Consecutive Whitharral Tournament Championship. Jr. Kenyon Taylor was named Tournament MVP and Jr. Jacob Torrez was placed on the All-Tournament Team.
