@parkrun We were ready to celebrate Eugene Vorster’s 250th at Root44 parkrun - Stellenbosch when we were closed! He’s part of our core team & has volunteered 208 times - always busy fixing things on the route during the week. We’re all excited to celebrate another milestone with Eugene 💜

Torrin Theron started parkrun at Root 44 where she was Event Director from 2013.

She then supported Western Cape as Regional Ambassador before stepping down to further her studies.

She's now the Winelands parkrun Ambassador and now has 300 volunteer credits!
