I struggle to defend my legitimacy and qualifications when the U.S. has totally bought into the idea that the only legit and respectable cert is thru YA. Like, no.
I'd really like to hear from more teachers who've been teaching for awhile and are feeling me on this struggle

I completed my training back in 2005. The original training was not Yoga Alliance approved tho it followed the same curriculum, & since half the trainings & certs I did were before they deemed themselves the arbiters of quality, they don't "qualify" for their standards.
