One last review from my purchases at the Lima Farmer’s Market. Sourdough from Rhodes Family Farm. I bought both the Italian Herbs and Cheese and the Everything Cheddar sourdough.

And I can’t forget about my dog Finn who wasn’t happy I was gone all day yesterday. So I got him a treat from The Dogma Biscuit Company.
Finn, a pit bull mix , is a rescue and is about 9 years old. I am pretty sure he enjoyed the treat.

I am exhausted from yesterday’s flea market but you know…I can’t sit still. Today I went to a farmer’s market. I got me some cinnamon rolls! And boy are they good! Check out The Pretty Penny Bakehouse. Their line at the farmers market is always long. And after trying the cinnamon roll, I can see why.

I also learned today that vintage Pyrex is worth a ton. I guess my mother-in-law was sitting on a goldmine! Who knew?

I can’t wait until May to do this all over again. Flea markets were my daughter’s thing. She loved them. Oh…and the mascot. We always had a mascot. I found one today. I’ll share a photo of him later.

Flea Market Friday!
My daughter and I used to go to this flea market twice a year. Once in May and then again in September. After she passed away, my husband went with me once. I hadn’t been back in four years.

But I decided to make the trip today to Springfield, Ohio, and go to the extra “extravaganza” as they like to call it. And it was just as good as I always remembered.

I was on the hunt for some garden statues. And I found exactly what I was looking for plus a few extra surprises. I’m exhausted, but it was a great time.

One of the hardest things about being a widow, is knowing nobody is going to show up and make all the hard decisions. Or do those things that they used to do. My bathroom shower isn’t draining well. And I’ve recently learned how to put a snake down the drain and clean it up. But it was awful. It was awful when he did it, but he did it.

He’s not here also making the decision on this roof that I have left to make. I’m angry that he fell from that awful roof. I am angry that he left me here to grieve him and our daughter. I’m angry that I have to spend money on stupid things like this without any money coming in like it used to. I’m just angry.

I wonder in time if I’ll be less angry. Or if this is just something I’ll have to live with. I kind of think I’ll get more angry as time goes by as the responsibilities pile on. All just sucks.
