🚨 Arteta on PL title: “You keep digging, digging, digging and you have to be digging because one day the gold is going to be there”.
“For three seasons we've had more points than any other team in this league, which is incredible. That's all about the consistency”.
@SharmaNiyamit This might be one of the worst football takes I've ever seen. Comparing Michael Antonio to Gyökeres tells me you've been watching football through memes instead of matches.
There isn't a striker in the world I'd swap for my Viking-never.
He arrived, ended our 22-year wait for the Premier League title, and scored 21 goals in his debut season.
I want Arsenal to sign Guimarães, a proper winger, and a defender. I don't want to hear any more of this Álvarez-for-Gyökeres swap nonsense. It's surprising that some people are so eager for a player who scored only eight goals in La Liga last season.
Gyökeres went on strike just to sign for Arsenal, despite several elite clubs being interested and willing to meet Sporting's asking price. But he only wanted Arsenal.
We're more than happy with our Viking.
🚨 @JacobsBen: “There is this possibility that Arsenal would be prepared to include Viktor Gyökeres in a deal for Julian Alvarez. Atletico Madrid have an interest in Gyökeres, so keep an eye on that situation. Gyökeres has interest from Saudi Arabia too.” 🕵️♂️ [@LatteFirm]
🔴 🇧🇷 Gabriel Jesus: "I still have unfinished business at Arsenal."
▫️The Brazilian opens up on his injuries, comeback and future at Arsenal.
🗣️ On overcoming his ACL injury:
"For me, a day without football is a terrible day. After I tore my ACL, I had 300 bad days in a row. First of all, God gave me this challenge because He knew I was strong enough to handle it. Without that, probably I would not be this strong in my head."
"Yes, this injury changed me - not just as a player, but as a person. I was in my best moment... then it happened. I had 11 months of doubting, stepping back and watching everything around me. If I didn't have the Bible, I don't believe I would've come back stronger than ever. Now I believe even more."
🗣️ On returning to full fitness:
"The knee is feeling great, my whole body. After such a big injury, some players have setbacks, so I hope it's different for me. I want to keep on this track."
🗣️ On scoring the last goal of the season against Palace:
"It was nice to get on the scoresheet and finish the season with a win. Most important, it was a beautiful moment because we won the title that day."
🗣️ On becoming a Premier League champion:
"It was a dream come true. After everything I've been through with injuries, to be part of this title-winning team is something I will never forget. The feeling of knowing we were champions... there's nothing like it."
🗣️ On his future at Arsenal:
"I'm fully back and ready to begin the new season. I feel that I still have unfinished business at Arsenal. I don't want to leave. When I came here to join Mikel, my purpose was not only to score goals. My purpose was to win titles, and I want to win more titles."
▶️Gabriel Jesus has returned stronger, mentally tougher and hungrier than ever after the most difficult period of his career.
Would you keep faith in Gabriel Jesus🇧🇷 this season, or should Arsenal sign another striker?
