One thing I’m gonna let it be known is that I’m Eritrean, I have relatives who lost their lives at the age of 12 and 13 years old to gain our independence. Disrespectfully I’m not Ethiopian. I go hard for my country.
President Isaias Afwerki opened this morning, at Asmara's Expo Compounds, Eritrea's National Festival 2024 which also incorporates a Pavillion on 50th Anniversary of the Bologna Festival.
Diversified exhibitions on display at the Festival, which will remain open until 18th August include: artistic works that depict the country's historical and cultural heritage; natural endowments as well as agricultural/fisheries and manufacturing products of the six Zobas; and, Eritrea's potential in the blue economy (tourism, maritime resources, renewable energy).
The Pavillion for 50th Anniversary of the Bologna Festival contains photo exhibitions tracing the trajectory of Diaspora (in Europe, the US, and Middle East) solidarity with, and support to, their homeland from the early 1970s onwards.
