@thephillipsfam The brain responds to challenging stimulus like a muscle. It also opens doors to excel in fields where math literacy is needed. I think home ec/ practical classes are great, but it’s a lot easier to pick up household electrical on the fly with experience in calc than vice versa

@thephillipsfam My calculus teacher explained it as such: you may or may not ever have to find the integral of a function or interpret/ solve a calculus problem, but the critical thinking, problem solving skills which are challenged and developed are useful in any field and many aspects of life

2024 recap: hit 390 bench and 495 backsquat ( currently have a higher estimated 1rm ). Moved positions as my team needed, made improvements on the field, and finished with a strong academic semester (3.918 gpa). Still not satisfied.
