I actually fucking hate everyone trying to 'prove' their sport is 'better' on here. I like football, I don't watch American football but I'm sure it's grand, HOLY SHIT. Worst week on here in a long time.
@Birdyword 1 thing I noticed at the baseball - they play music during every second of the breaks, so it's hard to get chants out that aren't just the lyrics to songs. In football you have 45 mins of silence from the speakers (bar goal, sub & 'if you own a black VW, reg...' announcements)
๐ง๐ช Midfielder Nico Raskin grabbed an opening goal assist as the @BelRedDevils defeated former Ger Malik Tillmanโs United States 4:1 to progress to the last eight of the @FIFAWorldCup where they will face Spain on Friday (20:00 KO).
@like_clarence@HLTCO@JamesMelville Assists have been around since the 80s. They seem to be more generous with what they deem assists but the term has been used extensively for a long time
@dominic_field@agage6@HLTCO@JamesMelville FIFA listed goals & assists at the 86 World Cup. What different regions call it may vary tbf but assists have been around a long time.

1. It's a wee bit of panto booing. Get over it.
2. If you support a big club, don't be wearing club tops to Scotland events. A morning run or jammies at most. Championship & below I'll allow.

The Scotland supporters definitely let them know how they felt as the pair made their way through the crowd ๐๐ถ

More than a thousand Scotland supporters hired a fleet of yellow school buses to take them to Boston Stadium for the World Cup on Saturday.
It started as a novel way to save money on transport, but the yellow school bus has become a symbol of the Tartan Army.
