@amylizk I wasn’t even halfway through the episode and had pause an go order Pahlka’s new book — “Recoding America: Why Government Is Failing in the Digital Age and How We Can Do Better”

@amylizk@AneesaSM Amazing! the heads up helmet drop. Our kids tee ball league doesn't use helmets and I really want to them. Not for safety but to have those ear covers squish their chubby cheeks for peak cuteness
@ME_McCullough I came here for the comments and they did not disappoint 🤌 I’m also partly to blame (chapter 3 from my thesis almost a half a decade ago)
@dmaccannell@amylizk Haha! Urgent need for independent external reviewer or an expert opinion on a fungal pathogen. I stand by my original statement, it can’t be good
@Paul_Carini Never had to load a 96-well plate but I recall having some success having one hot plate with really hot water to warm the tips before going to the other with molten agar for pipetting. Exact volumes were impossible
Come work with NWSS! We are hiring a lead for the Advanced Analytics Unit. This unit maintains internal and external data systems & dashboards, develops new metrics, and more! Wastewater expertise is a plus. Closes June 15th.
