@DanvilleJennie @amablue_ I think the way most students develop mastery in math is through practice. If some students develop that mastery faster than others, that’s what gifted programs can address. On the whole I’m more worried about students lacking proficiency than obtaining it too quickly.

@qwerty12702 @constans I didn’t have a homework assignment due the next day in every class, every day. But the ones I did have were graded. The only ones I can think of that weren’t are reading assignments where we’d typically have multiple quizzes throughout the week on what happened in the book.
