@MarkOSU18@Mariners I’m confused. I’ve been lead to believe by the organization that lefties don’t know how to hit other lefties and instead we should throw a guy out there who’s hitting well below the Mendoza line
BALL GAME! COUGS WIN! NICK LEWIS CG!
NICK LEWIS GOES COMPLETE GAME to knock off #7 Oregon State in the NCAA Regional opener!
#GoCougs | #MadeOfCrimson | @NCAABaseball
@ColeYoungFan Refsnyder and Dom both give you more than Bliss from either side of the plate. Pulling Dom for Bliss just because there was a lefty on the bump was mismanagement. Dom still hit .276 against lefties last year (didn’t have quite the same power output, but still better than Bliss)

@jackbuckeyes1@gregorysomethin@CFBMaxChadwick He got more national attention because the coverage of the west coast, especially WSU has always been poor, and his two years at WSU, they did not win a ton of games. Miami helped put him more in the spotlight, but he was that guy when he arrived.
@hornsfan722@CFBMaxChadwick No, he went there to play for a bigger brand with more talent around him. And with the PAC 12 disbanding, also more competition. He was the same guy at Miami that he was at WSU. If anything maybe got a bit of polish, but far from a reclamation project.
@gearshift44 @ImgoodboyTucker@nickhawkss Robles is similar to Dom, similar at bats and similar numbers. Randy was definitely bad. Tons of at bats and never put it together. I also think Dom is being overly criticized online. He will make less than a million next year, and hit well in the regular season. Bring him back.
@gearshift44 @ImgoodboyTucker@nickhawkss He got 7 plate appearances in the ALDS. And 4 of those came in the first game. Got essentially one at bat a game for a week. That knocks you out of rhythm. Struck out 10 times in 29 PAs, so it’s not like he “hit 3 balls”. He got 3 hits, and hit into some bad luck.
@ImgoodboyTucker@nickhawkss Dude he hit .300 with a .839 OPS in the regular season. He slumped a little bit in the postseason, but he didn’t get consistent playing time for a bit there, and had a ton of clutch moments for us during that regular season.
