@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician As I've told many people many times, I've tried. I don't have a height preference, but a lot of them get weird about it and excuse me of "mocking them" for whatever mundane things or lying about not caring about height.
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician Well, a lot of guys won't date a woman that tall, but that's just something I have to deal with. Complaining doesn't get me anywhere, I can't make someone date me.
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician Alright? So attitude can only hurt? If she is attracted to you, why wouldn't you want to improve your chances? And if someone isn't attracted, they aren't. I don't see an issue. I've gotten plenty of "sorry, I can't see myself dating a taller girl" but what can you do?
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician In what world in that anything meaningful though? I definitely am not going over to the house of someone I hardly know. I've ended a lot of conversations over that.
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician I said it's acting flaky to dodge dates all the time. If you see it as nothing more than a waste of time, I'm sorry, but women don't tend to agree, and this will hurt your chances. Many women will pay if you say something ahead of time.
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician I didn't say you were short, just that those often are a good example of how your attitude can sabotage you. Just something to keep in mind. The mindset is probably only making it more difficult.
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician Do you not see that in the process this leads to men kinda turning into the flaky ones? Do you really expect to go through things so passively?
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician Okay, you can think so, but I think it's not only a "shit deal" but also irresponsible and selfish to possibly bring a child into things like that.
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician Well I mean, you aren't a woman, and I assume you aren't gay. But there's a bit more to it, and often the defeatist attitude is what makes you the most unattractive. I have many other threads where I talk about the short kings and their self-fulfilling prophecy.
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician Then the 2 that seem interested beyond that end up never wanting to actually go on a date. Sometimes they won't even expend the energy to play video games with me. I think there's a problem with people just saying things and not ever actually doing anything now though.
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician I don't find wading through unserious messages of a bunch of guys ignoring my wishes and reaching out when I say no hookups to be opportunity. Hundreds of matches is definitely a very large over estimate, as is 30% in my experience. Usually about a 2/20 situation.
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician I am a woman? Around average? I get some messages, but not a lot. I often get told because either my above average height or that I'm upfront about waiting until marriage. That still isn't what I was talking about though. I'm asking about actual dates and proactive plans.
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician I mean I think it's more than just their looks. If you don't like men I don't know how to explain to you that it's also in the way they carry themselves and talk about their interests? I don't think you want me to gush over cute guys like it's a sleepover, but genuinely, yes.
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician Again you ignore the charts, but instead I'll pose a different question. How many do you think are serious? How many men are seeking a hookup and even ignore the bios and messages of women saying no? I said how many dates and courting efforts, not only messages.
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician I'm not lying but I do get accused of doing so quite often. Even if I'm a bit of an outlier, even though the chart seems to line up quite well, I am certainly not the only woman who thinks this way. Both of those guys are in relationships, too.
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician As I said in the other reply, I get plenty of criticism for thinking Scott Wozniak is cute. Nerdy white boy flavor. Sloan Struble is cute too, he's dorky flavor. I don't know, I still get accused of only wanting "Chad" a lot.
@tralalerot74594@LizzosDietician I don't know how much you date men, but trying to set up a date is like pulling teeth. I like how the chart shows men almost exclusively messaging the most attractive and yet it's women trying to alleviate boredom, despite the curve on our side following a similar shape.
