Our first pre season friendly ended in a draw against a good Hunterfield Vale side. After conceding 2 goals early doors, the boys fought hard to get back into the match and finished strongly.

✍️ Finally for tonight we have Struan Ritchie. A versatile player capable of playing in a number of positions, Struan often finds himself in dangerous areas in the opposition half. His pace and dribbling ability makes him a real threat from wide areas.

✍️ Next up we have Cammy Douglas who has also signed for this season. Cammy is an exceptionally quick player who can play on both wings as well as up front. His ability to dribble past players with ease allows him to create chances for himself and others.

✍️ Declan Tytler is the next player to put pen to paper for the season. Not only is he strong on the ball, but Declan has very quick feet in tight areas making him difficult to dispossess. His great striking of the ball allows him to play out wide as well as through the middle.

✍️ Next up we have Jason Mcarthur who has also signed for the season. Jason is a strong and steady fullback who is solid in the tackle and also very capable in the air. He has a great attitude and is always giving 100%.

✍️ First up for tonight we have our goalkeeper for this season, Blair Orr. Blair is first and foremost a great shot-stopper but also commands his area very well and is constantly talking and organising the defence in front of him.

✍️ We are pleased that Jamie Laidlaw has also signed for 20/21 season

Jamie is a strong, physical defender who loves a tackle. Having trained with us towards the end of last season, he is already familiar with many of the boys and we are looking forward to his impact this season

✍️ The club is very happy to announce the signing of Callum Henderson.

Hendo is a tough tackling player who is able to play both left and right full back. Whilst he does play in defence, Hendo often finds himself in dangerous attacking areas from which he can assist or score.

✍️ Alex Hyndman is another player we are very pleased to announce.

Alex provides plenty quality in both the central and wide forward areas. From his very first session with the club, his high intensity and work rate have been very evident and won’t give defenders a moments peace

✍️ We are also delighted to announce the signing of Rhys Young for the upcoming season.

Rhys possesses a lot of pace and is comfortable on the ball allowing him to play in many positions. His ability to take on a man and his keen eye for goal ensures he will be an exciting watch

Mikey is a hard working individual who is capable of playing both centre half and centre midfield. His dominance in the air and in the tackle makes him a very good addition to the squad for this season.

Finally for tonight, we can announce that Mark Bird has not only signed on for another year but will also be our captain for the season ahead. Mark is a pacey defender who reads the game well and is comfortable on the ball.

Stevie Anderson has also extended his stay for another year. An extremely hard working central midfielder with the passing ability to match. Not only is he a solid tackler but also adds some vital experience to the centre of the park.
